Taylor Swift is a little like everyone's adorable, but boy-crazy little sister.
With pure intentions and a child-like innocence, Swifty falls in love and falls in love fast.
The singer also isn't shy about sharing her limitless appetite for romance with the world and when things fall flat (as they often have) she works through her frustrations with music. Thankfully for us, Swifty has provided us the soundtrack for every possible romantic situation imaginable.
"The way I look at love is you have to follow it, and fall hard, if you fall hard. You have to forget about what everyone else thinks," she recently told Rolling Stone. "It has to be an us-against-the-world mentality. You have to make it work by prioritizing it ...I have rules for a lot of areas of my life. Love is not going to be one of them."
That being said, the singer is sort of notorious for short-lived affairs.
"I've learned when to get out," she told Cosmopolitan. "I've never wasted too much time with the wrong person and that's one thing I'm proud of."
Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift got together in the summer of 2008, but were dunzo by that fall when he dumped her during a 27-second phone call. He was dating Camille Belle at the time of the split, which means he technically cheated on her. "I've written about [the split], and I like to write about my life ... that's just how I deal with things," she told MTV in Nov. 2008 about the Jonas-inspired song, 'Forever and Always.' "[It's] a song about watching somebody completely fade away in a relationship and wondering what you did wrong."
