Taylor Swift is a little like everyone's adorable, but boy-crazy little sister.
With pure intentions and a child-like innocence, Swifty falls in love and falls in love fast.
The singer also isn't shy about sharing her limitless appetite for romance with the world and when things fall flat (as they often have) she works through her frustrations with music. Thankfully for us, Swifty has provided us the soundtrack for every possible romantic situation imaginable.
"The way I look at love is you have to follow it, and fall hard, if you fall hard. You have to forget about what everyone else thinks," she recently told Rolling Stone. "It has to be an us-against-the-world mentality. You have to make it work by prioritizing it ...I have rules for a lot of areas of my life. Love is not going to be one of them."
That being said, the singer is sort of notorious for short-lived affairs.
"I've learned when to get out," she told Cosmopolitan. "I've never wasted too much time with the wrong person and that's one thing I'm proud of."
Magazine covers declared that Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor were "in love" when they were spotted packing on the PDA, and hitting up the actor's hipster spots in Brooklyn. He dumped the singer for good that January of 2010 and now we have the song, 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' as a musical F-bomb to Jake. "He made me feel like I wasn't as good or as relevant as these hipster bands he listened to. So I made a song that I knew would absolutely drive him crazy when he heard it on the radio," she told USA Today.
