Brian Reyes Feb. 18"

Can’t make it to NYC for Fashion Week? Don’t worry, OK!’s got you covered! We’ll be hitting all the big shows and reporting back right here, every day, as soon as we tear our eyes off the runway! Last night we hit up Brian Reyes to take in all the sights and sounds!

SHOW: Brian Reyes

WHEN: Feb. 17

WHO: Jessica Stroup

FASHION: "The use of viscose and high-stretch jersey was influenced by tree climbers of the Northwest and the protective clothing they wear to study some of the most mesmerizing specimens on earth," Brian says of his line. Jewel tones seemed to be the basis of Brian's show. Turquoise, purple, blue and gold were used among neutrals and were said to be inspired from elements of fire. From dresses, suits, sweaters and coats, this show had something for everyone. Expect to see a new print resembling tree bark this season.

BEAUTY: Hair was styled by Martin-Christopher Harper for TRESemmé and was slightly teased, wavy and pulled into a low ponytail with one strand wrapped around. Makeup was done by Wendy Rowe for Bobbi Brown and was light with a neutral lip and paired with dark gold eye shadow.

COLOR/OVERHEARD: "Autumn 2010 is the story of tranquil beauty," Brian has said of his latest line. This was set with bright lighting and a projection of bare trees in the background of the stage. The music stole the show for some of the guests, featuring DJ Kris Bones playing "Sunny" by Boney M., as well as a funked-up version of "This Land is Your Land."  The collection was said to be inspired by recent travels to arboretums around the world, with a focus on activewear, and the music definitely helped express that. As the colors of the collection changed, so did the music! Jessica from 90210 attended the show wearing a light blue dress that's perfect for Spring!
