Pre-Meltdown: The voice of the '80s. The six-time Grammy winning singer with looks to match her gorgeous pipes. For some reason, decided to marry Bobby Brown.

Low Point: So far, the entire 21st Century have not been kind to the former queen of the pop charts. But if one had to pinpoint a single shining moment, it would be her decision to take part in then-hubby Bobby Brown's reality show, Being Bobby Brown, which showed audiences way too much of the personal goings-on in the Houston/Brown household.

Entertainment Factor: As bad as it may have been for her career and her image, Being Bobby Brown's trashy familial dramatics made for some compelling TV at 3 in the morning.

Current Status: In 2001, she reportedly signed a 6 album, $100million contract with Arista Records, but has only delivered on one title in that time. Not exactly a good sign.
