Tips to Help You Look Like a Star!

Since the holidays are prime indulgence time, we all get a little beastly, and admit it, lazy. But this fashionista's new rule is if the thought of swimsuits is more than a little daunting at any point, then it's time to get OFF her tuchus! That's why we consulted Joshua Love who's had his share of the credit for a few hot celebs' bods.

Since he spends most of his time in the gym and understands that most people want to know how to transform themselves with as little dough or effort as possible, he has great motivational tips:

1) Simplify and stream line everything--don't try to look to the long term or you'll get frustrated. Set simple tasks that can be easily achieved but also built upon like 20 minutes of activity a day, anything works as long as it gets your heart rate up.

2) Forget everything you've heard and think you know. Don't get stuck in the latest fads or crazes.

3) Start with calisthenics (body weight exercises); don't go lifting up a storm at first, stick to moving and lifting your own body with movements like planks, step ups, push-ups, squats and recline rows.

4) Never compare yourself to anyone else or measure her/his progress against your own. Never give up your routine and in 3 months reassess.

5) Be self accountable. Ask yourself if you've made a concerted effort every day to make a lifestyle change. Most importantly, do it for yourself and your health and longevity!
