Jason Ritter stars in Good Dick and W., which are in theaters at the same time. What’s the best advice his late, great dad John Ritter gave him? “He said ‘Don’t believe what other people say about you – good or bad,’” Jason tells me. “The good is more dangerous. Everybody thinks celebrities are somehow more important because they can get into more buildings. But when that goes away, you’re left with yourself. If you haven’t worked on yourself, you’re left with an empty shell. You try to get back into those restaurants and you can’t. Like in Extras.”
