Today, a rep for the Broadway revival of the classic Arthur Miller play All My Sons confirmed to OK! that actress Katie Holmes is going to be leaving the soundstages of Hollywood behind — at least for a while — to tread the boards in the Big Apple.

As first reported by OK! last week, Tom Cruise's better half had been in negotiations to make her Broadway debut in the play this fall, and the show's producer said she was perfect for the part of Ann Deever in the Tony-winning drama.

"Katie is very well suited for the role of Ann," Eric Falkenstein said of his headline-making star. "There is an additional layer of soul to Ann and from the work I've seen of Katie, she has always impressed with multi-faceted characters. She would nail it."

The Dawson's Creek star will be joining fellow cast members John Lithgow, Patrick Wilson (Little Children) and Oscar-winner Dianne Wiest in the production.

Would you catch Katie on Broadway?
Yes! I can't wait!
Hell no! It's hard enough watching her movies.
