How To Lose Friends & Alienate People (MGM) Starring: Kirsten Dunst, Simon Pegg, Megan Fox Overly obnoxious British journalist Sidney (Pegg) moves across the pond for an incredible opportunity to work for glossy Sharps magazine. Eagle Eye (Dreamworks) Starring: Shia LaBeouf, Michelle Monaghan This one reminded me of The Bourne trilogy. Two strangers (LaBeouf and Monaghan) get calls from a woman they don't know that lead them on a wild goose chase. They are forced to complete tasks and carry out a plan or they'll die. It's action packed and a thrill ride but once you find out where the voice is coming from, it's a bit disappointing. LaBeouf and Monaghan have no chemistry whatsoever although it's unclear whether thats on purpose or not. If you like action flicks, you'll enjoy this one on the big screen, but if not wait for the DVD. |
