It’s hard not to see Paris Hilton as a stepping stone for celebrity wannabes. Here’s how it must go: First, be seen everywhere with the heiress, then cause lots of drama by throwing it in your ex’s face. Make friends with the paparazzi, and finally, collect your infamy.
Paris’s latest recruit, Doug Reinhardt, seems no exception to the rule. Back from Tokyo where the socialite and Hills star stepped out as owner and pet a new couple, the pair decided to flaunt their fledgling love in front of an unsuspecting victim: Reinhardt’s ex-girlfriend Amanda Bynes! (refer to "cause lots of drama" rule)
According to E! News, Paris and Doug hit up Hollywood hotspot Teddy’s on Saturday night where a source says the pair "were hanging out together all night at a VIP table in the back corner with a big group of friends. Amanda was nearby at another table with girlfriends."
Although Paris and Doug were described as "very flirty" and dancing together, Amanda apparently took the high road and chose to ignore the PDA partners."
"She was definitely within eyeshot of Paris and Doug, but avoided looking at them," says the source. "She was trying to keep herself occupied by dancing and hanging with her girls, and made it appear as if she didn’t care about Paris and Doug’s escapades nearby."
Also at the club that night: Gossip Girl costars Ed Westwick and Jessica Szhor. There was no PDA, but they stayed by each other’s side for the night.

Amanda Bynes has definitely moved on from her Hills ex-boyfriend, Doug Reinhardt! While he may be getting serious with Paris Hilton, Amanda, 22, is getting hot and heavy with 28-year-old Chuck star Zachary Levi!
"There was some pretty serious PDA," says an attendee at the Feb. 21 Night Before party at the Beverly Hills Hotel. "They were the last to leave, after 1 a.m."

In fact, <em>OK</em>! has learned that the 22-year-old actress, who recently split from boy-toy Doug Reinhardt (who has since taken up with <a href="http://okmagazine.com/search/Paris" target="_blank"><strong>Paris Hilton</strong></a>), didn’t need a dude on her arm on Saturday night when she took the dance floor at NYC hotspot tenjune.
"Amanda looked super-cute and was dancing up a storm," one partygoer tells OK!. "She wasn’t talking to any guys but seemed very happy being single."
Meanwhile, Doug was busy on the west coast, helping Paris celebrate her 28th birthday. According to a report on <a href="http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/marc_malkin/b100130_paris_hilton_what_did_doug_reinhardt.html" target="_blank">eonline.com</a>, the celebutante’s newest conquest scored her an Andy Warhol print of Marilyn Monroe.

And she’s going to party like she’s over 21, finally.
I caught up with Amanda Bynes the other day at an afternoon mock-cocktail party at the Sunset Marquis to celebrate her Seventeen Magazine cover and clothing line Dear by Amanda Bynes for Steve and Barry’s.
Over fruit juice concoctions and strawberry shortcake I learned that we don’t not hear about Amanda’s escapades because she’s better at covering them up than some other notorious young Hollywooders, she’s just that good! But, she’s not boring, she’s actually pretty funny.
She said people have never caught her flashing her undies for the paps because ‘You shouldn’t do anything your don’t want your parents to see (hers read the mags) and your parents shouldn’t be seeing your panties.” Ok, will give her that one.
She said she doesn’t go out because “Every time I get drunk I puke, so it’s not so exciting and I’m not a big drinker.” Maybe she needs more practice?
Her favorite club is Marquee in NYC. It’s the last club she’s been to –on her 21st birthday last year!
-To ring in her 22nd birthday this weekend you can find Miss. Bynes livin’ la vida Las Vegas where she said, “I’m really excited to go dance in da clubs with my friends.” The festivities are slated to begin at Blush and then LAX, but her rare time out Amanda said, “We’re going to club hop to all of them.”
