Will Jillian Harris morph into a female version of Jason Mesnick when The Bachelorette returns this spring? An insider tells OK! that Jillian, who finished third on The Bachelor — just missing a chance to be part of single dad Jason’s bizarre love triangle — is “getting her edge on” before filming starts later this month.
“Everyone who saw Jillian on The Bachelor has the idea that she is a goody-two-shoes,” the source says. “On the show they will reveal that she’s capable of creating controversy. The producers would love it if The Bachelorette ends just as dramatically as The Bachelor.”
Jillian, 29, an interior designer from Canada, was a fan favorite on the hit ABC show and will hand out her first rose on May 17. For The Bachelorette, she’ll be pitting the guys against each other. “You’ll see her really manipulating them in a way previous Bachelorettes haven’t,” the insider says.
“You may see her lying to the guys, misleading them about what she’s really looking for. She may not be a fan favorite by the time she’s down to her final choice, but it’s all about ratings.”
Melissa Forgives The Bachelor

Apparently, all’s well that ends well… if it ends with a new reality TV gig, that is.
After The Bachelor star Jason Mesnick dumped Melissa Rycroft on national TV for a chance with runner-up Molly, fans were outraged. Melissa’s moving on, however, nabbing a gig on Dancing With the Stars in the wake of orginal contestant Jewel’s injury.
Jason’s already said sorry as well, including sending a message via Extra saying, “I apologize from the bottom of my heart….But I am very happy for you right now and I know you’re in a place you want to be.”
And after Melissa’s well-received debut on DWTS last night, she’s got a message of her own for her ex: You’re not the only one with a new love!
“I accept the apology," she tells Extra. "Forgive, forget. I’m moving on. And I’m away from that situation, in a new relationship and a new life really.”
Aww, snap!
Bachelor On-Air Breakup Not Required

To add more fuel to the controversy that has flamed up over Bachelor’s Jason Mesnick breaking up with his fiancee Melissa on-air—and choosing runner-up Molly as his beloved—the show’s executive producer says the televised diss wasn’t in the contract.
"I think he felt an obligation to the show, but there’s no contractual obligation there; none," Mike Fleiss told reporters during a conference call on Wednesday.
However, Melissa wasn’t totally in the dark when it came to Jason’s feelings for her, as Fleiss says she had an inkling that things were coming to an end.
"They were on the phone every day. They were together and what happened. He had plenty of access to her, but it just wasn’t working out for them," Fleiss explains. "She didn’t know it was about Molly. I think that was the thing that caught her off-guard.
As for why Jason chose to do the deed on TV instead of in private, Fleiss says it was a natural decision.
"It’s a TV show and that was really the defining moment of this series. To not put them on TV seems strange, considering we are making a TV show and these people signed up to do a TV show," he says. "We try to tell a complete story, and to have that go on and not let the viewers be part of it would have been a mistake."
We’re sure that makes Melissa feel a lot better.
Fergie & Josh’s Joint Parties!

With their nuptials just days away, popstar Fergie and her hunky fiancé Josh Duhamel are saying good-bye to singledom – together!
The couple chose to host a dual bachelor and bachelorette party and celebrate with all their friends, taking over Santa Monica’s Dakota Lounge for a night of revelry on Wednesday.
The guest list was strictly regulated for the quick bash, which saw the hot twosome enter the club through the back at and exit only an hour later. As photographers tried for a better angle to snap a pic of the couple, Josh’s chivalrous instincts took over as he he walked in front of his bride-to-be in an effort to shield her from the pappers.
"Josh looked so happy and was being very protective of his bride-to-be," said an eyewitness, adding that Fergie looked "very glamorous and sexy. Her hair and makeup were very subtle."
Although the ceremony itself is only a few days off, Fergie and Josh’s guests don’t even know where they’ll be heading on Jan. 10 – the couple will be alerting their friends and family of the wedding’s location hours before they tie the knot.
DeAnna and Jesse: Having a Big Wedding!

After DeAnna Pappas lost out on a chance for marriage with Stephen Bradley Womack on season 11 of ABC’s The Bachelor, her fans couldn’t wait to cheer her on towards love and happiness with Jesse Csincsak in The Bachelorette’s fourth season.
And while no couple from The Bachelor has made it to the altar yet, The Bachelorette’s first couple, Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter are now happily married and proud parents. DeAnna and Jesse told OK! at The Emmy House in L.A. this weekend that they’re not only planning their wedding, but counting on having a big family.
"I can tell you two things about our wedding: it’s going to be big, and there is going to be a lot of cheesecake there," says Jesse.
As for the location of the big day, the couple is still undecided.
We keep going back and forth from California to Georgia to Tennessee to the Bahamas," DeAnna tells OK!. "We are still kind of stuck on the Bahamas."
"We want three kids. I have to say I want all boys!" says Jesse.
"God’s going to get him, and he is going to give him all girls," DeAnna teased back, adding, "We are going to get married first, and then we will go from there."
Marla Maples Talks About Her Bachelor Boyfriend

After years of watching her bazillionaire ex-husband Donald Trump buy and sell just about everything on the planet, Marla Maples has finally made her own valuable acquisition — former Bachelor star Andy Baldwin!
The camera-friendly pair recently confirmed they’re dating and OK! caught up with Marla— who will soon appear on the CBS reality show Secret Talents of the Stars — at Monday’s Dancing With the Stars, where she sat in the audience with her new man.
“There’s so much happiness in my personal life,” Marla gushed to OK! “Andrew is awesome. He’s a great human being. We both love sports; we both love giving back. We’re having a great time.”
Marla, 44, who has a 14-year-old daughter, Tiffany, from her marriage to Trump, said both she and Andy, 31, enjoy doing charity work. In fact, the two met while both were participating in a bike ride benefiting Best Buddies. “Tiffany and I were biking 15 miles and he was biking like a hundred miles,” she laughed.
“We try to lift and inspire each other,” Marla said about her relationship with Andy, who is a medical doctor and an officer in the U.S. Navy. “He was just on a mission in Pulau and while he was there he worked with the government to help bring athletic gear and tennis shoes to the children in Pulau.”
Marla also told OK! Andy shows he’s a true officer and a gentleman in smaller ways as well. “We were ice skating together over the holidays and if anyone fell, he’d be the first one to go to try to help them up. So that’s in his nature — ‘let me try to help you!’ To me, that’s an aspect of a person that’s worth taking a second look at.”
They’ve also bonded over their experiences with fame. “I’ve tried to share with him how hard I know it is being in the public eye,” said Marla, who will perform aerial gymnastics on Secret Talents of the Stars in the episode airing April 29. She thinks their romance will thrive “as long as you keep communication open and don’t have any expectations.”
