Mickey Rourke Is Making The Most Of His Comeback!

It’s got to be nice to be back in the spotlight after all that time in the shadows!

 

Mickey Rourke, who was once used to having beautiful actresses competing for his attention, is taking advantage of his Golden Globe win to hang out with Hollywood’s younger set.

 

First the actor, 52, who picked up the award for his career-reviving role in The Wrestler,

grabbed a hug from Natalie Portman, 27, at the Chateau Marmont, on Jan. 10.

 

Next he accosted The Crow actress Bai Ling, 38. The pair “made out and partied pretty hard,” reports the New York Post.

 

Meanwhile, he and co-star Evan Rachel Wood, 21, “were very flirty” at Tao in Las Vegas in November, says an insider (which seems just a little creepy, since Evan and Mickey played father and daughter  in the film).

 

But sadly for them all, Mickey’s heart is already taken — by his Chihuahua, Loki, 17.

 

"She’s the one I love the most in this life," Mickey has said.

Bai Ling Charged With Theft

Among the list of crimes (allegedly) committed by celebrities, this ranks as one of the most minor, but that didn’t stop authorities from officially charging actress and walking fashion travesty Bai Ling with petty theft following her Feb. 13 arrest for allegedly swiping $16.22 worth of swag, including batteries and a magazine, from a store inside Los Angeles International Airport.

A spokesman for the L.A. City Attorney confirmed on Monday that Bai faces a possible $250 fine for her dastardly deed. The actress is scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday, where she has the option of paying up or contesting the charge.

After the arrest, which couldn’t't have been more embarrassing than her Grammy’s outfit, Bai blamed a recent breakup on her "emotionally crazy" behavior. Sure…

Bai Ling Blames a Bad Breakup for Her Arrest

In an interview with E! News, actress Bai Ling is speaking up about her embarrassing arrest at an LAX gift shop. Ling says she split with her new boyfriend before she was scheduled to fly to New Mexico to begin shooting a film, turning it into an "emotionally crazy" day for her.

Ling had two celeb magazines and a package of batteries with her when she tried to leave the shop without paying. An employee saw her and made a citizen’s arrest.

The actress said she was dealing with the "huge problem of breaking up before Valentine’s Day" when she was arrested for shoplifting, then added simply, "Wrong boyfriend."

 

Damon Elliot, a close friend of Ling’s, told E! News that she was definitely not herself on the day of her arrest. "She was kind of in a mentally unstable state of mind yesterday," Elliot said. "She had some relationship issues going on. She wasn’t in the right frame of mind."

Ling is due in court on March 5 to face charges stemming from her arrest.

Bai Ling Arrested!

According to a report on TMZ, actress Bai Ling, better known for her bad fashion choices than her film role choices, was arrested Wednesday for allegedly shoplifting at a shop at Los Angeles International Airport.

A store employee detained Bai, who was seen taking two celeb magazines and a pack of batteries, then called the police in. The "cooperative but crying" actress was reportedly taken into custody by airport police and booked for theft.

 

The total value of her goods: $16. No court date has been set.
