Barbara Walters: Like a “Vergin”

Following the likes of Oprah, Barbara Walters has joined the mass Twitter trend, and on Monday’s The View, she made a big deal about it, announcing it to the other women at the table and even getting a camera guy to zoom in as she wrote her first line.
"I’m losing my Twitter verginity!" Walters wrote, using her BlackBerry. The only problem? Isn’t there an ‘i’ –not an ‘e’–in the word virginity?
The spelling malfunction was quickly corrected by none other than Elisabeth Hasselbeck and life, as we know it, continued.
Apparantly Babs can’t spell sex words and Elisabeth can. Hmmm. At the end of the show, Walters pouted, "No one has written me on Twitter yet."
Great, now it will probably crash. Thanks Barbara!
“Sarah Left Me Because I’m an Imbecile,” Says Kimmel

Okay, we’ll give Jimmy Kimmel this much — He’s done some stupid things in his career.
But we still think he’s being a little hard on himself when he says that Sarah Silverman dumped him because he’s "an imbecile".
When the late night host appeared on The View Monday morning dressed as one of the show’s former co-hosts, Rosie O’Donnell, the ladies of the round table quizzed him about the latest break-up with his on-again-off-again girlfriend.
And when Barbara Walters asked him what happened, he said: "What do you think happened?
"I’m a 41-year-old man with a bra filled with Koosh balls: I’m an imbecile.
"She couldn’t date an imbecile anymore."
But poor Jimmy didn’t seem too thrilled with the on-air grilling.
"The only thing better than breaking up," he sighed, "is going on The View right after you break up."

Ann Coulter apeared on The View on Monday to promote her new book, Guilty, an expected controversial narrative which devotes a chapter to—among other things—single mothers and how they are ruining America. Needless to say, the ladies had a few things to get off their chest.
Ann’s particular criticism of single moms in Hollywood– who she says use their kids to get ahead– particularly offended Whoopi Goldberg, an Oscar winner and single mom.
But it didn’t stop there. When Barbara Walters tried to read a passage from her book, Ann lashed out at the way she read, telling her "You should do the audio book," prompting Sherri Sheperd to jump in and tell Coulter, "I don’t appreciate the way you’re talking to her [Barbara]. You didn’t have to talk to her, like that." To which Coulter replied tersely: "Maybe we can move on from tone to substance."
