    Kate Gosselin may be locked in a war with the father of her eight children, Jon Gosselin, but she can count on the ladies of The View for support. The show's doyenne Barbara Walters, 80, defended the TLC reality star and lobbied for her new series, Kate Plus 8, to remain on air after it premieres next month.
