Benji Madden Definitely Over Paris

February 4th, 2009 / Author: OK! Staff

During the DirecTV Celebrity Beach Bowl in Tampa, Florida, Good Charlotte twins Joel and Benji Madden celebrated Super Bowl Sunday with, what else? parties!

The night before, Benji spent most of his time behind the turn tables at the Models and Bottles party, where he was joined by another celeb DJ, Samantha Ronson and girlfriend, Lindsay Lohan!

The on-again, off-again couple was rumored to have gotten into yet another public argument, but Benji tells OK!, "They’re great. We’ve known Sam for a long time and they’re great girls." Benji added that when it comes to his DJ-ing skills, "Samantha gives me tips. She’s been DJ-ing a lot longer."

Then there’s that near run-in with Madden’s ex-girlfriend Paris Hilton, who showed up as a celebrity guest at the Models and Bottles party. The two, have not been spotted together since their break-up, spent most of the night on opposite sides of the room.

When asked if he’s dating, Benji told OK!, "I’ve just been working. I’m great. I can’t complain. I have a great life, I’m working, I’m happy."

Benji’s brother Joel Madden also has a reason to be happy. His daughter with Nicole Richie, Harlow, just celebrated her first birthday.

"She’s great, she’s doing everything a 1-year-old does," he told OK!, adding that his   relationship with Nicole works because "we love and support each other."

Brad Pitt Embraces Turning 45

December 9th, 2008

Brad Pitt isn’t afraid of getting old. Then again, if we looked like this hunky father of six, we wouldn’t be either!

At Monday night’s premiere of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in L.A., Pitt–who’s approaching his 45th birthday– told Extra he’s definitely looking forward to his golden years.

"I like wisdom that comes with age," Pitt said in an interview airing tonight. "I wouldn’t trade it for youth any day."

In the upcoming film, which is based on a short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Pitt plays a man who is born old and gets younger as the film progresses. It required not only a lot of makeup, but tons of patience.

"My mornings started very early," Pitt recalled. "Getting up at 3 in the morning and sitting in the chair for four or five hours."

Brad also cleared up the rumor that Angelina Jolie presented him with a $12,000 motorcycle, calling the reports, "not true at all."

Ever the jokester, Brad recently appeared on pal Ellen DeGeneres’s show, encouraging her to send Chippendales to the office of his good friend and fellow prankster George Clooney–which she did.

Of his little practical joke, Pitt said, "It’s a pre-emptive strike. It’s coming anyway. You got to get something." Asked about Clooney’s look-a-like facial hair, Pitt replied, "He’s a handsome dude, what can I tell you? I can’t get this guy out of my slipstream. I get a mustache. He gets a mustache."

It seems like Pitt had warm words for everybody, including his Interview With a Vampire co-star Tom Cruise. When asked if he’d ever work with the Mission Impossible star again, Pitt said, "Of course. He’s a friend of mine. He’s a strong one, that guy…I loved what he did in Tropic Thunder. The ending is hilarious."

OK! Exclusive: TomKat Preps for Suri’s Birthday

April 16th, 2008 / Author: OK! Staff

It’s hard to believe that it’s already been two years since Suri Cruise came into the world. As the adorable tot gets ready to celebrate her second birthday on April 18, OK! reveals  how parents Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are planning to throw their precious daughter the most fabulous party ever!

"Katie is so excited — she’s taking care of every last detail," a friend of the young mom tells OK!. "You can count on special things like individual place settings and festive bunting. And when Katie plans a party, she plans a party!"

Sources say the invite list for the bash will be strictly A-list. And in addition to TomKat’s celebrity friends who will be there, expect to see Suri’s big sister Isabella,15, and 13-year-old brother Connor, as well as Tom’s mother, Mary Lee Mapother, and Katie’s parents, Martin and Kathy Holmes, who are likely to fly in from Toledo, Ohio.

The party will be full of presents and sweets (Suri is particularly fond of toy animals and ice cream from NYC’s FAO Schwarz, so it wouldn’t be unlike thoughtful Tom to have some flown out by private jet for the affair), but one thing will definitely be missing: flowers. "Suri occasionally has allergies," says the friend. "So Katie will make sure that there’s nothing to upset them!"
