Deep Thoughts by Aubrey O’Day

Starts off a little confusing with:

 

"What did the king of all things say he wanted when he started his career?  Simple.  "Cocaine and p*ssy."

 

She goes on to describe who we think is P. Diddy, before getting down to business.

 

I use that intro to bring this idea to the table: Aren’t we all taking ourselves a lil’ too seriously?…. What I’ve experienced on the music end is a constant pressure to ‘ACT right and SPEAK right.’

 

The industry people telling me this are not trying to instill better behavior in order to help make me a better person or allow me to learn some valuable life lesson… So what I love about the mogul’s less than politically correct or "wrong" answer, is maybe we all ought to lighten up and allow our artists to be what they are and say what they really feel or think instead of giving the ‘vague and opinion less’answer as taught to my generation of artists in order to achieve ‘credibility and longevity’ to sell more records…

 

Maybe next time the answer should be something as simple as ‘cocaine and p*ssy.’ "

Mischa Barton Blogs About Break-Up

Instead of running from rumors regarding her relationship with musician boyfriend Luke Pritchard, Mischa Barton has taken matters into her own hands and declared that things are over.

 

Mischa took to her blog today to let her fans in on what went down between the twosome, who have been dating for a few months, saying she wanted to express herself before the gossip started.

 

She writes:

 

"I’m sure you guys are all going to hear about it soon enough so I just wanted to tell you what is real first — I broke up with Luke when I got to London. Things just didn’t feel quite right. There was no cheating or anything terrible, the bad just started to outweigh the good and a long distance relationship is never an easy thing to do.

I hope that the press will show some respect in the near future as we both find it very difficult to deal with a lot of attention or speculation from the media. I think Luke is a great guy, but the type better suited as a friend. We have a surprising amount of mutual friends in England and I don’t regret our time together, I just couldn’t keep it going.

There is no bitterness between us…that I know of (sorry, I had to joke!). If there ever is a case of two people staying friends I’m sure it will be the case with us — our personalities are very good for that.

Lots of love to my fans! I’ll check in again soon.

Mischa Says She Isn’t Starving Herself!

Another skinny starlet has decided to address rumors around her recent weight loss.

 

This time, it’s Mischa Barton, and she’s posted a statement on her personal blog:

 

"So lately there’s been a lot of crazy press about my weight and just so you guys know I’m happier and healthier than ever so there is no need to worry about me. Things are really well in Mischa world and I’ve just been watching what I eat. I appreciate the concern, I just wish the press wouldn’t harbor on it as I think it’s very unhealthy for young girls to read about and pay attention to."
 

How does the actress stay so trim? She claims it’s exercise, diet and her busy travel schedule. "I still love my pilates and yoga, and have cut back on fatty foods a bit.  My time in India and Paris really just helped me lose a little bit of weight but there’s nothing drastic going on," she insists.

 

According to Celebuzz, the slender celeb is not happy about the buzz that she may be living an unhealthy lifestyle. "Honestly I think this whole situation is ridiculous," she said. "But there comes a time when you have to address these things."

Is Allen A Lil’ Desperate?

Jeez Lily, did you ever hear of playing it cool?

The Fear singer Lily Allen has just heard that her new album, It’s Not Me, It’s You might sell enough copies to be number one on the Billboard 200 album chart this week.

And instead of booking Chateau Marmont for a party, or ordering few cases of Cristal, Lily wrote a blog begging (yes begging) her fans to buy her album and send it to the top.

"I’ve never had a number one album in England, never mind the US, and all of this is a bit crazy," she wrote today on her MySpace page.

"I could well be up for no 1 here (America), which makes me want to cry a bit . I’ve never begged you to buy from me ever, but I am now.

This will be the only time ever in my life that this could happen for me."

 

Now that you’ve got the music-making bit nailed, Lily, you need to start working on your rock star poise.

 

We can’t imagine that the week before Thriller was released, Michael Jackson was scribbling out notes like that to his fan club’s mailing list.

Mischa Barton Still Dating Luke Pritchard

Mischa Barton wants us all to know that she’s in a relationship–despite what you may have heard.

The former OC star took to her official blog on Tuesday where she confirmed she is still dating Luke Pritchard and that rumors of an alleged love triangle between the two and Tom Wright is just baloney.

According to Mischa:

"I’m sure you’ve all heard the rumors about the alleged "love triangle" between Luke Pritchard, Tom Wright and me, so I just wanted to take this opportunity to clear the air on this matter. There is not now, nor has there ever been a "feud" between the three of us; Tom is a close friend of mine and we hang out with a lot of the same people in London. If I’m dating anyone right now, it’s Luke. Luke is an amazing guy and we enjoy spending time together, but we’ve only been seeing each other for a few weeks and we’re taking it slow. I hope this clears things up for everyone."

 

It certainly clears things up for us….How about you all?

Michael Lohan’s Last Online Letter?

Say it ain’t so! Michael Lohan, the habitually chatty father of Lindsay Lohan, writes that he is hanging up his blogging hat, apparently after his kids insisted .

 

"Well here you have it. My final blog. And for those of you who are doubters or knockers, let me say that I never took a penny for my blog or anything I ever did for any of my children," he writes on his official site. "I did what I did, out of love and concern, regardless of any of your opinions. I did it to help them, advance their careers and give them hope. I taught them that anything is possible if you really want it enough, and that when your heart is in the right place, God will make it all happen!"

 

But will it stick? Michael’s love of blabbing to the public has left a long proverbial paper trail, including rambling letters to OK! in the past, usually dealing with his favorite topic: Lindsay and her girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

 

This "last" post is no different, as Michael finishes with: "I was with Lindsay when she got out of Cirque Lodge. I saw and experienced the ‘old Lindsay’ with so much hope and promise. I had full confidence in her. Then back came Samantha! Can’t you all see this? Am I speaking to stone walls? All I ask that you put your selves in my shoes and HONESTLY consider what you would do.

As I said, this is my final blog, and I hope what I have said and expressed to you and Lindsay, have a positive effect on your lives."

After media sources ridiculed Jessica Alba for saying Sweden was a neutral country during WWII (it was), the actress has taken to her MySpace Celebrity Blog to address the attacks against her intellect, writing: 

 

"Hey Guys,

Jay_eh here. I wanted to share with everyone in the ibeatyou and MySpace communities my experiences at the inauguration last week, so I put together a little video.

Before I get to the video, I want to clear some things up that have been bothering me lately. I find it depressing that in the midst of perhaps the most salient time in our country’s history, individuals are taking it upon themselves to encourage negativity and stupidity. Last week, Mr. Bill O’Reilly and some really classy sites (i.e.TMZ) insinuated I was dumb by claiming Sweden was a neutral country. I appreciate the fact that he is a news anchor and that gossip sites are inundated with intelligent reporting, but seriously people…it’s so sad to me that you think the only neutral country during WWII was Switzerland. Taylor Hearts Britney Forever!

Taylor Swift doesn’t mind her mom cleaning up after her, but when the country star found something missing, she definitely minded!

 

"While I was in L.A. my mom reorganized my bathroom," she writes on her MySpace blog. "But then I turned around and was startled by something… Where was my Britney Spears poster…. No, this can’t be right… WHERE is it?!?" I searched the room frantically for a few seconds before finding its new spot."

 

Whew! Close call. So where did Brit end up?

 

"My Britney Spears poster (from 6th grade) had been relocated to my bedroom, which is another AMAZING upgrade. This way, I see it more often and it more proudly displays my unwavering devotion to Britney Spears."

 

The feeling could be mutual, as the Britster’s web team posted Taylor’s blog on the pop queen’s official site.

Lisa Marie Presley Defends Scientology

In the recent whirl of media attention surrounding John Travolta and Kelly Preston’s family in the wake of their son Jett’s death, criticism of their religion of choice, Scientology, has once again popped up. Lisa Marie Presley, also a member of the group, has taken to her MySpace blog to defend Scientology, in a post titled, "Now Is Not The Time."

"I wished I could be writing you under happier circumstances but I cannot because Two of my very good friends, (John and Kelly Travolta ) the sweetest people in the world have just encountered the worst possible tragedy a parent could be forced to endure, the death of their son Jett," she writes.

"I am writing this because I have noticed that for the most part, people and the media have been very sympathetic and respectful, but there are those certain ones that want to use this horrible tragedy as an opportunity to once again, blame and or attack Scientology? Folks, as popular as it has been to discriminate and ridicule Scientology and Scientologist’s in the recent past, Now is NOT the time," the star adds.

 

Noting that there is "misinformation" floating around about the religion, Lisa Marie tries to set the record straight in her view, saying, "Among most of the crazy made up garbage that goes around about it , It is not true that Scientologist’s ‘Don’t believe in’ medical care , medicine or medical Doctors and that may have something to do with this terrible tragedy. Just like anyone else, If one is sick , they go to the doctor, If a medication will make it better then they take it. If they don’t then they are an idiot and you can’t blame their religion."

 

The new mother of twins finishes, "Whatever medical and or physical condition Jett had , I can tell you first hand that his parents were on a tireless, never ending quest to get and provide him with the absolute best care anyone could ever ask for and need, Medically, physically, emotionally, medicinally and spiritually. I am not writing this to preach my beliefs, I am here to protect my friends."

To the few of you out there that this may apply to, Let’s not use the tragic death of a child to facilitate your insatiable need to attack and destroy Scientology shall we?
John and Kelly have done nothing but spend their lives and their time helping others, making people happy and making peoples lives better. Please let this family grieve in peace.
