Although she’s not quite 16, Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus seems to be taking her mega stardom, and the media frenzy that accompanies it, like an adult.
"It’s what I’ve grown up with – being around my father [Billy Ray Cyrus] who’s gone through the same thing. But when you have it happen to yourself, it’s finally like, ‘Oh, my gosh. Now I really understand what this is business is all about,’ " she tells Parade.com. "It’s like the biggest blessing ever because it’s so much fun. But it’s not only about the perks, it’s about the challenges. I just love the challenges."

In her new animated movie Bolt, Miley lends her voice as the owner of a dog who plays an action-hero on screen, and really believes he’s got the same powers in real life. Not surprisingly, the tween phenom says she can relate to that experience.
"He believes that he really is the character he plays and I can understand how that can happen. I think it’s really easy to fall into that trap in Hollywood – to believe that you’re almost like an alter ego of your onscreen persona," she reveals. "For me, that would be like this very glam kind of rocker chick."
So does Miley want to spend her days as her onscreen character? Don’t hold your breath!
"You have to learn how to turn that off when you go home and just sit around and hang out with your friends," she explains. "So I think it’s a good way to show that you have to learn how to turn that off every once in a while and just go home and be a normal kid."

No matter that their dad is a movie legend who’s starred in classics like Grease and Pulp Fiction, John Travolta’s kids are most impressed that theirfather got to hang out with Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus. The duo star in animated film Bolt andgot together to sing a duet of "I Thought I Lost You" for the music video.
"I was so popular when I got home after they had gotten the news that I sang with Miley," he says. "Doing a movie with her was big enough news. But the singing and dancing with her was a whole other thing. So I’m finally getting some attention from my kids."

Due to the way animated pictures are made, however, John and Miley didn’t meet up face-to-face right away.
"We finally sang together when we did the video for the movie," he explains, "But before that we had to sing our parts separately and we never saw each other. I guess it was like Barbara Streisand singing with Frank Sinatra on Duets. But we finally did perform together and we had a lot of fun."

The teen sensation, who has been dating 20-year-old Justin Gaston, says she "would actually love to co-write with John Mayer," and thinks Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford "is pretty cute. Not really a crush. I just think he’s good looking," she says.
Cyrus, who turns 16 later this month, says she wants–you guessed it–a car for her birthday. "I think I’m going to wait ’til Christmas. My mom told me that we should wait til Christmas because there will be newer cars."
Miley is not only achieving a teenage milestone this year, she’s maturing as a performer as well, co-starring with John Travolta in Bolt. She calls working with the actor "a dream come true" adding that, "[John was] an actor I had wanted to work with for a long time, so I got to do that so I’m really happy," she says.
It also fulfilled her mother’s dream! "My mom was so happy I got to work with him…so happy. She said, ‘You won’t believe I had posters of him on my wall,’ and I was like, ‘Okay, you keep that to yourself when you meet him. Zip that tight!’"
