If hotness was truly an explosive quality, this twosome might have been in danger of causing a bit of bang: Megan Fox and Zac Efron went out for an intimate dinner Tuesday night at Pace in L.A., Celebuzz reports, immediately starting up the relationship rumor mill.
A fellow diner revealed, "They were very friendly and their faces were close when they talked."
The two flirted back in January at the Golden Globe Awards, and Megan said recently that she considers herself single.
It could be a case of just friends, however, as OK! recently reported, Megan spent a weekend with on-again-off-again boyfriend Brian Austin Green, and Zac has been loyal to girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens for years.
Only time will tell if this super-hot duo will team up for the title of Hottest Couple Ever.

While Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was breaking box office records its opening weekend, star Megan Fox was on a double date in Las Vegas – with Brian Austin Green, not rumored new fling Shia LaBeouf!
Sources tell OK! the Palazzo Las Vegas was alerted Saturday morning that Megan would be arriving that afternoon.
Megan ended up missing her flight, but that didn’t halt her plans – instead she drove all the way from L.A. to Vegas, finally arriving at the Palazzo at 3 a.m. Sunday morning with her sister, her sister’s beau and Brian Austin.
According to a source close to the couple, this on-again, off-again twosome are totally switched on.
“Megan and Brian are definitely together. They call each other baby and are just so cute together. I don’t think they ever really broke up," says the insider. "They’re so comfortable and ridiculously cute. In the elevator Megan put on chapstick with her finger and then put the rest from her finger on his lips. They seem so happy together and so in love.”
The group slept in late on Sunday, an insider tells OK!, and then saw Cirque de Soleil’s Mystere that night. After the show the group went to vodka bar Red Square at Mandalay Bay for dinner and had drinks afterwards at Dos Caminos.
The source added, “You would never know she had the biggest movie of the summer out right now because she was so nice and humble, almost timid and shy.”

Brian Austin Green’s Career Is “Terminated”

Brian Austin Green would rather focus on getting his Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles character written into big screen part than focus on his past in that famous zip code.
"It was a great 10 years," he tells AOL’s Inside/TV of his days on Beverly Hills: 90210, "but I kind of feel like unless there’s a really cool reason for it, or if they’ve written something really clever in an interesting way of bringing the character back… I really don’t want to just walk out and just be David Silver in the Peach Pit."
These days, Brian is focus on his new Terminator gig, which wasn’t supposed to be a permanent role.
The fans liked the character. And the writers liked the character; they realized that they could use him a lot more than they had originally thought," he reveals.
As for whether he’d like to be in one of the new Terminator movies that’s sure to follow after Salvation is released, Brian’s ready to make that leap from the small screen to the big.
"I’d be lying if I said no. I’d love it. I’d love to do what we’re doing right now on a grander scale. But at the same time, you know, this is a dream job," he explains. "It’s a dream television show. I don’t know if I could actually look for something cooler, or find anything cooler than this right now."
In the meantime, Brian’s got a fiancée, Megan Fox, who’s no stranger to the silver screen. So will he convince his real life lady love to guest star on Terminator? Probably not.
"I think that’s always a weird line that people cross, and it doesn’t necessarily work out the best," he admits. "I’m sure we’ll work together in some way or another … I’d love it, I dunno. I don’t think she would come and do our show. I think she’s a little too busy with films right now … [But] it would be really cool."
Shannen: Get Brian Austin Green Back!

Shannen Doherty has already reunited with Jennie Garth on the new 90210, but who else would she bring back to the Beverly Hills zip code if she could?
"Oh gosh, Brian Austin Green!" she told reporters Thursday in NYC at the Gen Art Fresh Faces Fashion Show. "I adore Brian, and Brian and I have always had a really good, strong relationship."
However, Brian is already on a TV show, something that could stand in the way of the co-stars’ onscreen reunion.
"The only thing about bringing him to 90210 is that I wouldn’t want him not on The Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," Shannen explains. "He is so good and it’s one of my favorite shows. So I want him back really badly, but at the same time, I love watching that show and I love watching him in it."
Shannen continues the praise for her fellow actors, saying the young cast of 90210 doesn’t need much advice from her.
"They are really smart kids, they don’t need that much guidance!" she says. "They are very talented, they are all adorable, they are all sweet. The cast gets along really, really well and they’re all fantastic."
