Charlie & Brooke Have “Favorites”

In their first interview together since baby boy twins Bob and Max were born, Charlie Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller joke that they’re already picking between their sons!

 

"We have favorites already," Brooke quips during the interview with Extra.

 

"No, no. The kids will see this [interview] one day. And never forgive us," Charlie adds.

 

"But they’re fake favorites. They’re not real favorites," Brooke concedes.

 

"And that’ll change from day to day," finishes Charlie.

 

Each parent has a different favorite, with Charlie going for Bob, who has his given name, Carlos, as his middle name.

 

Brooke’s fave?

 

"Max [is my favorite]. Max is sweet and quiet," she reveals. "And Bob is kind of loud and cries a lot like his father."

"We’re thrilled. Everyone’s doing great," says Charlie. "Bob’s great. Max is great. Mom is great obviously, look at her."

Charlie continues, "I also want to say to all my fans. Thank you for the outpouring of love and support and well wishes. We really appreciate it. It’s an exciting time for us. Be careful what you wish for. Here we are…."

 

Brooke adds, "With twins."

Charlie Sheen Says Twins Are “Amazing”

Charlie Sheen is speaking out for the first time about the birth of his twin sons, Bob and Max.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the Two and a Half Men star calls his newborn fraternal twin sons, who were were born last weekend, "pretty amazing. Not a whole lot of sleep, but what parent does at this stage? There’s adrenaline, excitement, fear," he says. And even though they’re not identical, Charlie says he still struggles to tell them apart.

"I can’t tell! They’re not identical, but at this stage they’re similar enough," he admits.

Bob and Max Sheen—not exactly names you’d associate with Hollywood these days merely because they’re so….well, normal! But that’s what Charlie says he and wife Brooke Mueller specifically wanted.

"They’re very short and simple, easy to spell and remember," he says. "Bob is the same frontward and backward. I’m a fan of a short and simple name. Max was literally Nick until about a minute before he came out."

Charlie’s two daughters with ex-wife Denise Richards also have short, sweet names: Sam and Lola. The actor says the girls are thrilled to be big sisters, but that they have their own ideas about the boys’ names. "They’re insisting that they call them Bob and Duke," Sheen says.

Charlie Sheen & Brooke Mueller’s Twin Boys are Born!

Congratulations to <a href="http://okmagazine.com/search/sheen" target="_blank"><strong>Charlie Sheen</strong></a> and his wife Brooke Mueller, who welcomed their first children together — twin boys — on Saturday!

The news was confirmed today by <a href="http://extratv.com" target="_blank">Extra</a>, who report that the boys are named Bob and Max.

The newborn boys are the first for Brooke, who married Charlie on May 30, 2008, in a wedding <a href="http://www.okmagazine.com/news/view/7033/OK!-Exclusive:-Charlie-Sheen-Weds!" target="_blank">featured exclusively in the pages of OK!</a>. The newlyweds announced the baby news in August.

When the Two and a Half Men star, who has three daughters from previous relationships, discovered Brooke was pregnant with twin sons, he told <em>OK</em>! he was overjoyed.

"I’m truly blessed," Charlie told OK! at the time. "I’m already the proud father of three beautiful daughters, and I’m delighted that they’ll now have two little brothers… Life doesn’t get any better than this."

Charlie Sheen’s Wife Hospitalized

Charlie Sheen’s pregnant — with twins — wife, Brooke Mueller Sheen, has been taken to an L.A. hospital after experiencing premature contractions, the actor’s rep confirmed to OK! on Wednesday.

A rep for the couple explains to OK! that premature contractions are "not uncommon at this stage of a pregnancy carrying twins. She is expected to be released from the hospital today."

Charlie and Brooke were married on May 30 at a sprawling Beverly Hills estate and only OK! was there!.

"I was telling a couple of friends last night that this feels like my first real marriage, Charlie confessed to OK! at the time. "The first one was a show, the second one was a con, and this one is the real deal."

Charlie Sheen’s Daughters Unhurt in Car Accident

Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards are counting their blessings after their two young daughters were unharmed after being involved in a car accident over the weekend.

According to a rep for the actor, daughters Sam, 4, and 3-year-old Lola were riding in a car driven by their nanny on Dec. 12 when it was involved in a colision on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, Calif. Luckily for all involved, there have been no reported fatalities and the Sheen girls were unharmed.

Denise and Charlie share custody of the two girls, and he is the father of an older daughter from an earlier relationship. In October, the Two and a Half Men star confirmed to OK! that he and new wife Brooke Mueller are expecting twin boys.

Charlie Denies Ditching Pregnant Wife to Party in Vegas

A scurrilous report in tabloid rag Star Magazine alleges that reformed Hollywood bad boy Charlie Sheen skipped out on his pregnant wife, Brooke Mueller, to partake in some "carrying on and boozing" in Las Vegas.

But according to a rep for the Emmy-winning actor, it just isn’t so.

"Star Magazine never lets the facts get in the way of good hatchet job," says Sheen’s rep Stan Rosenfeld in a statement to OK!. "Had the reporter bothered to check, he or she would have learned that the reason Charlie was in Vegas on Oct. 25 was for a contractual appearance on behalf of Planet Hollywood’s Privé."

And, says Rosenfeld, the Star report, which claims that Charlie didn’t return to L.A. until Oct. 28, also has their dates mixed up.

"Charlie was in Vegas only four hours," he explains to OK!. "He arrived and left the same evening. Star reporting of his alleged behavior is an inaccurate as the rest of their story."

Denise Richards’ Show: Round 2!

It seems to have gotten a little less complicated for Denise Richards – despite rumors that her E! reality show had gotten the axe, the network announced today that it will be picking up Denise Richards: It’s Complicated for a second season.

 

The show is set to air again starting in 2009, once again following the life of the actress and mother while the world watches.

 

"We are thrilled about the renewal of the show and are geared up for an exciting second season with our continued partners at E! Entertainment," said the multi-tasking Ryan Seacrest, who is an executive producer for the program.

 

This season should shape up to be quite interesting as Denise’s ex-husband Charlie Sheen is expecting twin boys with his new wife, Brooke Mueller.

It’s been a great 2008 for Charlie Sheen. Not only has the award-winning actor gotten married to sweetheart Brooke Mueller in a wedding featured exclusively in the pages of OK!, he’s just confirmed that he and his new wife are going to be the proud parents to twin boys!

"She’s the best stepmom Sam, Lola and Cassandra could ever hope for. Seeing her love and affection with those three, I know she’ll be an amazing mom."

Charlie on Brooke’s Bizarre Cravings

For newlyweds and newly expectant parents Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller, there’s a lot of adapting that must be going on — at least when it comes to the mom-to-be’s new eating habits!

“She came to the outdoor kitchen the other night with a jar of pickles," Charlie revealed to TV’s Extra. "That was followed by ice-cream.” Not being shy, Brooke herself confessed to a hankering for, “cheese and crackers, pistachios. Everything.”

Brooke and Charlie, who wed on May 30 in a ceremony featured exclusively in the pages of OK!, also told Extra they would be happy with a girl or a boy! "We just want a healthy child," explained the actor, who is already father to three daughters from previous relationships. "We know everyone says that, but it’s the truth."

That being said, Charlie didn’t rule out the possibility of learning the baby’s gender before the birth. “We might do that thing where they do the test, then write it down, then we have a dinner and it’s revealed,” he said.
