There are new details about the accident that landed Casey Aldridge, Jamie Lynn Spears‘ fiance, in the ICU on Sunday morning: TMZ reports details from the official crash report from the police department.
According to the document, "for some unknown reason," Casey’s truck left the road and went into a ditch at 1:54 a.m. He continued driving in the ditch for 250 feet or so, before he "overcorrected and lost control of the Ford F-250." It rolled over and went another 160 feet.
TMZ says that one passenger claims no one was drinking, and that the worst injuries were a broken collar bone and Casey’s fracture.

We’re sure the Spears and Aldridge families are breathing a big sigh of relief: Casey Aldridge, Jamie Lynn Spears’ fiancé and baby daddy to Maddie, has been moved out of University of Mississippi Medical Center’s Intensive Care Unit, his uncle tells E! News.
"He is doing good," says the Rev. Odus Jackson of Casey’s health after flipping his truck early Sunday morning. "It was a big scare there for a moment, but he got moved out of ICU and is doing good."
Casey was driving four pals in Tensas Parish, La. when he lost control of the vehicle around 1:20 a.m. He sustained a head injury and was cited with careless driving.
"I think he cut off the edge of the road, corrected and it flipped," Jackson said. "It didn’t turn out to be a big scare, or as big as we thought," Jackson said. "It was scary there at first, but now we are in good shape."

The bad news: Lindsay Lohan and her new white Maserati were in a car accident last night in Glendale, Calif. The good news: no one was hurt, and she wasn’t driving.
While her assistant drove and Lilo was in the passenger seat, they hit a Subaru in front of them, damaging the front left side of her brand spankin’ new Maserati. It’s a good thing she wasn’t driving, as she’s had two other accidents – in 2005 and 2007 – and another could’ve gotten her in a load of hot water.
The Mean Girls star is busy doing her community service to atone for her 2007 arrest.

In the grand tradition of starlets and the cars they love, AnnaLynne McCord got into a minor car accident in L.A. yesterday.
The 90210 actress rear-ended a Range Rover with her silver Mini Cooper on La Cienega but walked away from the accident with no injuries.
Her car didn’t fare too well, however; the new, majorly dented ride had to be towed from the scene.
Bummer!

It just goes to show that you can keep Britney off the roads, but that doesn’t guarantee they’ll be any safer!
Like a rehashed story from earlier this year, Britney Spears was involved in a minor car accident on Wednesday. And shocker–her car hit an overzealous photog.

TMZ reports the singer was in the back seat of her giant white Cadillac Escalade (Does she know there’s a fuel crisis?) when her driver backed into a paparazzo’s car.
The Escalade is now sporting a pretty large dent, but no one was hurt. What’s a few scratches here and there? Britney made a quick getaway to Wasteland on Melrose in West Hollywood for some good ol’ fashioned retail therapy.
Ironically, lawyers for the pop star were back in court today dealing with a case from August of 2007 in which Britney hit a parked car and left the scene without talking to the owner, while driving with an out-of-state liscence.

Brit’s attorney reportedly rejected a plea deal that would have resulted in a year probation and a $150 in her misdemeanor license case.
Sigh…it was getting a little too quiet on the Britney front…

Dark Knight star Morgan Freeman is divorcing his wife of 24 years, costumer Myrna Colley-Lee.
The Oscar-winner’s lawyer and business partner Bill Luckett confirmed to Access Hollywood that the pair "are involved in a divorce action and, for legal and practical purposes, have been separated since December of 2007."
This announcement follows Freeman’s car accident on Sunday, in which the car he was driving in rural Mississippi went off the road and flipped over. The passenger was identified as Demaris Meyer, who has been described as a friend.
Freeman has undergone surgery for a broken arm, broken elbow and minor shoulder damage and is expected to make a full recovery.
