Pink Talks About Reuniting With Carey Hart

May 15th, 2009

When pop star Pink and husband Carey Hart separated, the singer funnelled the bad feelings about the split into her music. And now that the two have decided to patch their relationship up, those spite-filled tunes make for some hilariously awkward moments for the couple.

"It’s funny now," Pink tells Ellen DeGeneres on Friday’s Ellen DeGeneres show. "Because he’s in the audience; so when I sing ‘he’s a tool’…Now that’s my favorite line. Hi Honey, that’s you!"

Pink also talked briefly about the couple’s plans to reaffirm their union, saying they don’t need to walk down the aisle again since she and Carey never officially divorced, but that they’re not ruling out the idea of some sort of ceremony. "I love a party!" she tells Ellen.

Tune in to The Ellen DeGeneres show on Friday to check out the entire interview.

Carey Hart Calls Pink the Love of His Life

March 4th, 2008

They may have broken up, but don’t expect a contentious divorce between Pink and Carey Hart. It seems like the two will follow in the amicable footsteps of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis.

“We’re the best of friends and we plan on remaining that way. She’s the love of my life," the motorcross racer tells Extra at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, reinforcing the couple’s initial statement that "while the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger."

Such good friends they are that you can expect the Grammy-winning rocker to be front and center at the opening of Wasted Space, Carey’s new club on The Strip. Pink will definitely be there to perform, the 32-year-old says.

“Of course. We are the best of friends. She will be there,” he confirms.

Carey’s comments follow his ex’s equally fond words over their relationship. Writing on her Web site following the breakup, the 28-year-old assured fans the divorce "not about cheating, anger or fighting" and that "Carey and I love each other so so much."

Pink also didn’t rule out a possible reunion in the future.

"One never knows the future, but mine and Carey’s just might involve beach babies and sunshine one day. Just not right now."

Pink Opens Up About Her Split

February 20th, 2008 / Author: cwillett

After months of speculation that their marriage was on the rocks, Pink and her BMX biker husband Carey Hart announced their split yesterday. Today, Pink has taken to her Web site and reassures her fans that she is doing fine. She said:

Hi everybody.
I wanted to reach out personally to all my fans/friends out there in the world. First and foremost, thank-you for all of your support and love, it means a lot to me right now. The most important thing for you all to know, is that Carey and I love each other so so much. This break up is not about cheating, anger, or fighting. I know it sounds like cliche bulls***, but we are best friends, and we will continue to be. All I know at this point, is that I want to make the best album I can, and Carey wants to do the best possible job he can with everything he has going on. He is a good man, so please support him as well. One never knows the future, but mine and Careys’ just might involve beach babies and sunshine one day. Just not right now. Thanks for the concern and caring.
X Miss P

It seems that although the two have separated, Pink still has hope for the future. How sweet!

Rewinding Pink

February 20th, 2008

Pink is back on her own now that she announced her split from motocross racer hubby Carey Hart.

I spoke to the Who Knew singer, 28, less than a month after she tied the knot in 2006.

How did you know Carey was the one?
I always joke with him and say I tried to kick him out of my life eight times and he never went anywhere so I asked him to marry me. He’s very consistent and very, very good to me.

What was your wedding like?
It was gor-geous! It was so much fun, everyone was sort of well-behaved for our group until my dad threw me in the ocean. It was beautiful, Carey’s vows made every single person there cry and I was just really, really happy. It was just awesome.

How was your honeymoon?
We went snowboarding in Mammoth Lakes, California, which is where we got engaged. We took the doggies — which was fun except that they had diarrhea and we were cleaning up dog poop for the first three days of my honeymoon, which was wonderful. We have two bulldogs and two rescued junkyard mutts. The bulldogs are Foxy and Elvis and the rescue babies are Bailey and Nanny. We went snowboarding, then came back, dropped the dogs off and went to Fiji. We read to each other, played Scrabble and drank cava. It was awesome.

Did you ever consider changing your name to Pink Hart?
Everyone thinks I should, but no.

How has your relationship changed now that you’re married?
It’s really not. We’ve been together for four-and-a-half years. I met him right at the beginning of Missundazstood, so we’ve been on tour our entire relationship. I haven’t seen him since the honeymoon. I’ve been premiering my new video and single Stupid Girls, and out there laughing a lot and defending and explaining that there are intelligent life forms on this planet. (Laughs)

Anything that surprises you about married life compared to your expectations?
Not really. It’s only been three weeks and we haven’t spent a lot of time together, but we’re so down and we’re so cool with each other. It’s just easy for us. We’re really fond of each other.

Are there children in your future?

I hope so, but no time soon. (Laughs) I’m not ready.

What color will their names be?
No funny names. Carey is very adamant about that because he feels like he has a girls’ name and he got up a lot because of it. All my weird names he’s already thrown out. (Laughs)

Stay strong, Pink.

Pink & Hubby Split

February 19th, 2008 / Author: cwillett

While rumors of marital trouble between pop star Pink and her bike-racing hubby Carey Hart have been circulating for quite some time, both had recently laughed these reports off. And then today, a rep for the singer released a statement confirming that things are indeed over for the couple.

"This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another," Pink’s rep, Michele Schweitzer, said in the statement. "While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger."

Pink and Carey, who met in 2001, have been married since Jan. 7, 2006.
