Even though the men were being recognized, starlets like January Jones, Kim Kardashian and Olivia Wilde, wearing a wonderfully white Marchesa mini, out shined the the presence of testosterone at the 14th Annual GQ Men of the Year Party. The ladies were all gussied-up for the event last night at L.A.’s exclusive Chateau Marmont. Alexander Skarsgard, Clint Eastwood, Emile Hirsch and Morgan Freeman represented the men on the red carpet.

Party Hopping with Brad & Angelina!

At Paramount’s Golden Globes bash held at Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont on Jan. 10, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie proved they aren’t above improvising. Arriving shortly after 8 p.m., the pair made the rounds through the hotel’s private courtyard, greeting fellow party guests Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert Downey Jr.
"Brad was really happy — totally being his mellow, low-key self," a fellow party goer tells OK!. "People kept coming up to him, trying to talk business, and Brad was like, ‘Nah, man. Not now. This is a party.’"
Drinking a Heineken beer out of a bottle, Pitt chatted with party host Brad Grey, who invited him and Angie to join him in the courtyard’s VIP section. But getting there proved more difficult than the parents of six anticipated!
"Brad Grey motioned for Brad and Angelina to cut through some hedges to get to the VIP," the insider tells OK!. "Brad was game but Angelina looked a little tentative — she was after all, wearing heels and a nice dress!"
But, outnumbered as she was, Angie eventually gave in and followed Pitt and Grey through the bushes.
"Brad had his Heineken in one hand, and Angelina’s hand in his other and said, ‘C’mon babe — you can do this!’" the source tells OK!. "And he led her through the hedges to the VIP. It wasn’t like Angelina was worried about ruining her dress, she just had a look on her face like, ‘Are we supposed to be doing this?’"
The next night, following the awards ceremony, Brad and Angie joined most of Hollywood’s A-listers at the Sunset Tower Hotel, where onlookers tells OK! the pair stole the show, sneaking some very public smooches.
"She’d give him a kiss, he’d caress her back. There was a lot of PDA going on," an eyewitness tells OK!. "Neither one of them looked too upset about not winning — they spent the whole evening exchanging loving looks and holding hands. It was really cute!"
At 10 p.m., the couple finally took a time-out from their nuzzling to share a chocolate molten cake.

Heath Ledger Drug Video Discovered

One week after Heath Ledger was found dead in his NYC apartment, a new videotape has emerged, showing the actor surrounded by drugs at a hollywood party.
The tape — acquired by Australia’s Channel 9— was shot at L.A.’s Chateau Marmont back in Jan. 2006. Entertainment Tonight and The Insider had planned on airing the tape Thursday, but now a rep for ET and the Insider tells OK!, "Out of respect for Heath Ledger’s family, Entertainment Tonight and The Insider have decided not to run the Heath Ledger video being released to the world media today."
Though Heath is not seen doing any drugs in the grainy video, the people with him are, and the tables around the actor are reportedly covered with drugs as well. At one point, Ledger can clearly be heard saying, "I’m going to get so much s**t from my girlfriend." When he’s asked "Why?" he responds, "Because we have a baby together…. Matilda, Matilda Rose." Ledger goes on to say, "I shouldn’t be here at all." Ledger also talks about his drug use on the tape. "I used to smoke five joints a day," he says.
This tape confirms a story in the new issue of OK! where sources who partied with the actor at the Chateau Marmont detail the late actor’s drug use. On Jan. 29, Ledger was in town to attend the SAG Awards (Brokeback Mountain was nominated) and was staying at the hotel with Michelle Williams, Matilda and Michelle’s mom, Carla.
There was an official Brokeback Mountain party at the hotel but Heath didn’t stay long. At one point sources say he walked outside for a smoke and met up with two strangers.
"I was with a friend who happened to be Australian," an insider tells OK!. "Before I knew what was happening, he and Heath were in our bungalow. He did massive amounts of cocaine and drank up every bottle of liquor in my minibar."
The source continues, "Heath talked about so many different topics, but most of all he talked about Michelle and his daughter, Matilda. He told me he loved Michelle more than anyone in his life but could never see himself marrying her. He just didn’t have it in him."
Though OK! has received several other confirmations that Heath had issues with illegal substance abuse during his brief life, the medical examiner in New York has not yet released toxicology reports from tests done during the actor’s autopsy.
Mary-Kate Parties After Heath’s Death

Just before 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 24, a group of girls entered Pianos bar on NYC’s Lower East Side. One of the girls, actress and entrepreneur Mary-Kate Olsen, started grooving to the band who had just taken the stage.
"She danced a little to their set," an eyewitness tells OK!. Just two days earlier, Olsen had made headlines in connection with actor Heath Ledger’s untimely death. But on this night, witnesses say, "She didn’t seem depressed. She was pretty much her normal self."
Perhaps Mary-Kate was trying to forget about the tragedy. After all, it was she who had received the first phone calls about Heath (four to be exact) from the actor’s masseuse who said she’d found the Brokeback Mountain star unresponsive in his NYC apartment. Olsen reportedly sent her security team over right away and they showed up simultaneously with paramedics. Ledger was pronounced dead a short time later.
Those who know the 21-year old Full House star say she and Ledger,28, first met in the summer of 2006 when he was living at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. Heath and Michelle Williams were starting to feel the strains on their relationship and Ledger warmed to the charms of Mary-Kate, who often hung out at the hotel with her twin, Ashley. "They were not dating but had hooked up in the past," a source tells OK!.
Despite their seven-year age gap, sources say Ledger and Olsen enjoyed similar interests — like partying. "MK liked nightlife. She liked to go to bars," the source tells OK!.
