David’s Cuckoo for Coco

June 9th, 2008 / Author: OK! Staff

Nearly four years into fatherhood, proud papa David Arquette still can’t believe daughter Coco is his little girl.

“It’s like this incredible little person moved in with us,” he tells OK! of his 3-year-old daughter with Courteney Cox. “She is so funny and has such an amazing personality. It is so cool having her around.”

The quirky actor plans to share the love with a fun-filled dads’ soiree for Father’s Day, which happens to fall on Courteney’s 44th birthday and two days after Coco’s fourth birthday. “I’m going to have other dads over, and we’re going to barbecue and hang out by the pool and relax," he says.

Perhaps David, 36, can have a pow-wow with his fellow dads to get some fatherly advice.

“I’m learning how to be a better father all the time,” he says. “I can’t claim to be a great one yet!”

Courteney Cox Spills the Dirt on Her “Little Performer”

February 28th, 2008

Will the Arquette acting legacy continue?

Little Coco Arquette, daughter of Courteney Cox and David Arquette, is quite the ham, her mom tells Entertainment Tonight. The 3-year-old is a frequent visitor on the set of Courteney’s show Dirt, where she is completely in her element.

"Coco’s very comfortable on the set, very comfortable around all the people," Courteney says. "She’s an actor, for sure, a little performer."

But would she let her little girl follow in her parents’ footsteps?

"No. Oh, I hope not!" she exclaims.

Season two of Dirt, in which Courteney plays a tough-as-nails tabloid editor, premieres Sunday on FX. And while she hasn’t changed the way she feels about the paparazzi since the show began, the 43-year-old star admits the paps have loosened up on her after seeing her devilish Lucy Spiller on screen.

"I think the paparazzi’s been nicer to me," she says. "I think they like the show, so there’s a little more camaraderie."

Courteney Cox & David Arquette’s Charitable “CelEBration”

October 2nd, 2007

On a sunny Saturday at the Santa Monica Pier, celebrities and their families joined host Courteney Cox at the CelEBration on the Pier to Benefit the EB Medical Research Foundation for a day of carnival rides and games. Courteney and husband David Arquette’s involvement in the organization began when her manager’s nephew contracted the rare skin disease known as Epidermolysis Bullosa.

“He’s a wonderful kid name Brandon and I saw him and it broke my heart, and I thought if I could do to anything to help I would,” Courteney, 43, tells OK! “They started this foundation and I’m a part of it, and since then, it’s really taken off. We’ve raised a lot of money and there are major strides that have happened, and hopefully, next month we’ll get an FDA approval of a first clinical trial.”

It was a fun day at the pier and David even hopped in the dunk tank to help raise money. “He’s going to get dunked real bad,” David’s sister, Patricia Arquette, tells OK!.

Keeping true to her word, she went over to the tank with her daughter, Harlow, 4, and pushed the target without attempting to throw the ball at it. “Charity work does not mean it’s not going to be fun.” In all seriousness, Patricia, 39, says, “[David and Courteney] have been really active and I’m very proud of them for doing that.”

For the couple, who have a 3-year-old daughter, Coco, the time in Santa Monica was a typical day with the family for them. “We actually come to the [Santa Monica] Pier a lot and have kids over to swim,” the former Friends star tells OK!.

“We like to get together with friends that have kids,” David, 36, adds.

Other celebrities who came out to support the cause include Adam Sandler, Joely Fisher, Noah Wyle, David Spade, Kate Beckinsale, Camryn Manheim, Holly Robinson Peete, James Marsden, Jeanne Tripplehorn and Kaley Cuoco.
