The nominees for the 36th Annual American Music Awards were announced on Tuesday, putting Alicia Keys in the lead for the artist with the most AMA nods--5 to be exact, followed by Coldplay and the Eagles, who scored four each.All three will compete for artist of the year, alongside rapper Lil Wayne and R&B star Chris Brown, who have three nominations each.
