More Family Drama for Dane Cook

We’ve gotta feel bad for Dane Cook – his family seems to have a thing for stealing from him: His brother Daryl McCauley is already in trouble with the law for allegedly embezzling just wants to steal tealing from Dane Cook allegedly runs in the family.

With his brother Daryl McCauley already facing charges for allegedly embezzling millions from the comedian, Daryl’s wife Erika was arrested today as well, TMZ reports.

Erika will be arraigned today on charges of larceny by scheme and receiving/concealing stolen property in Massachusetts.

 

Daryl got in trouble back in March and was charged with eight counts of larceny over $250, forgery and larceny by continuous scheme. He even allegedly forged a $3 million check, written out to himself, which was supposed to be from Dane.

Dane Cook’s Brother Indicted

TMZ is reporting that Dane Cook’s half brother, Darryl McCauley, has been indicted by a grand jury and charged with eight counts of larceny over $250, forgery and larceny by continuous scheme. He’s allegedly stolen millions from the funnyman, even forging a $3 million check from Dane’s account, made out to himself.

 

Meanwhile, his trusting and over generous bro was paying him $12,500 a month to be his personal business manager. Ouch.

OK!’s Super Bowl Party Guide

OK! is on the road again and heading down to Tampa, Florida for the 2009 Super Bowl XLIII where we’ll be partying with hundreds of A-list celebs and super star athletes who join forces for one mega hot weekend.

 

While the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers battle it out for the Championship Title, the stars celebrate football’s ultimate showdown in style. And although the economy has forced some past Super Bowl sponsors to pull out from throwing their famous celebratory bashes (Playboy and Victorias Secret to name a few) there will still be plenty of beer drinking, music making and party-hopping to go around!

 

We’re staying at the Hard Rock, which is guaranteed to be flowing with all-stars and celebs stopping by at the various lounges all week. To sort out all the other hip festivities, weve made a list of our top Super Bowl bashes this year. Party on!

THE DISH: ESPN is going all out this year for their annual Super Bowl bash and this party will be star-studded. Dane Cook’s Bro: I Didn’t Do It!

Dane Cook’s brother has pleaded not guilty to stealing his money.

According to TMZ, Darryl McCauley says he didn’t try to forge a $3 million check and deposit it into his account. McCauley was arrested yesterday and charged with three counts of larceny and one count of forgery.

He had been acting as VP of Great Dane Enterprises since the early 1990s.

McCauley is still in custody. His bail is set at $3 million. 

Dane Cook: No Brotherly Love

You know that saying ‘business and friends don’t mix’? Try adding family as well!

Dane Cook’s brother was arrested on Tuesday in Massachussetts for allegedly stealing millions from his funny man sibling. TMZ is reporting that Darryl McCauley–who worked as Cook’s business manager– reportedly forged a $3 million check and deposited it in his account.

McCauley had been handling Cook’s financial affairs since the 1990s.

Kate Hudson: “I Love Living Alone”

After starring in a number of feel-good romantic comedies and making tabloid headlines with a string of high-profile boyfriends, single mom Kate Hudson is changing her image onscreen while navigating the dating waters as best she can.

 

In an interview with Parade, the star of My Best Friend’s Girl opens up about the potty-talking and steamy love scenes with Dane Cook in the new film.

 

"I actually talk like that. It’s like the first time I actually felt, ‘Oh, I can say the sort of inappropriate things that I say sometimes in real life when I’m talking about people in and out of relationships and stuff.’ It was fun to swear in a movie which I’ve never really done before."

 

However she, adds, because she has young son, Ryder (father is ex-husband Chris Robinson), Kate trys to keep her language a bit cleaner. 

 

"Now that I have a son, I don’t do it as often on a day-to-day basis," she tells Parade. "But boy, yeah, I can throw out some bad words every once in a while."

 

After her marriage ended in 2006, Kate has had romances with famous names like Owen Wilson and Lance Armstrong, but is currently single.

 

"I guess I’ve been in the dating game for like two-and-a-half years now," she says. "But I’ve only dated like three guys. It’s like you meet people, and you enjoy people, and they either work or they don’t. Then one day, you find the person that actually really works."

 

Although she had a tough transition after her divorce, Kate says that she’s learned to embrace her life as it is.

 

"Now I love living alone. But the transition to getting there had its ups and downs like loving it and then not liking it. But once you settle into it, it’s really nice."

 

Ryan Seacrest Voted Sexiest Smile

The results of Victoria’s Secret’s 2008 What Is Sexy list are in — Ryan Seacrest officially has the world’s sexiest smile. "What’s sexy about him is he doesn’t act like he is," Victoria’s Secret spokeswoman Monica Mitro tells the A.P. "We felt that his smile was quite sexy — in a very subtle and innocent and humble way."

 

Seacrest is one of a handful of stars to make the lingerie giant’s "sexy" list. Eva Mendes was voted sexiest actress, and star of ABC’s Lost Josh Holloway made Sexiest Beach Body. Other honorees include Victoria Beckham for Sexiest Mom and Katherine Heigl and husband Josh Kelly as Sexiest Newlyweds.

 

Other sexy celebs include Dane Cook (sexiest funnyman), Eric Bana (sexiest actor) Scarlett Johansson (sexiest style), Jessica Biel (sexiest lips), Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively (sexiest newcomer), Fergie and Josh Duhamel (sexiest couple), Kate Bosworth (sexiest eyes) and Ali Larter (sexiest legs).

 

 

And ABC’s Dirty Sexy Money — which stars Peter Krause and William Baldwin — was voted sexiest cast.

Dane Cook: “Jessica Will Be a Fantastic Mom!”

Dane Cook sat down exclusively with OK! to talk about his friend and Good Luck Chuck co-star Jessica Alba. The actress, 26, announced in December she is expecting a baby with long-time boyfriend Cash Warren, 28.

On whether Jess will be a good mom, the actor had nothing but kind words for his former leading lady. "She’ll be fantastic. She’s so compassionate and very attentive," Dane tells OK!. "Some people you kind of feel like they’re meant for that, and she’s one of those people that just has those nurturing qualities."

 

Cook goes on to say he and Jessica clicked from the start. He tells OK! it only took an hour of talking before he felt, “That’s the girl I want for the movie. She’s really wonderful."

 

Good Luck Chuck comes out on DVD January 15th.

Watch Out For… Brittany Robertson

At 17, actress Brittany Robertson is already on top of her game and can be seen in Dan in Real Life with Steve Carell, Juliette Binoche and Dane Cook. “Just to have scenes with them and watch them and observe them as a young actress…" the blonde-haired, blue-eyed beauty tells OK!, "It’s really inspiring.”

And one cast-mate in particular wowed her from the very beginning. “Dianne Wiest is the most inspiring woman,” Brittany says. “She is one of the most wonderful actors I have ever met.”

Aside from a handful of independent films and roles on TV, Dan in Real Life marks Britanny’s first shot at true stardom — and she tells OK! she’s been preparing her whole life for this moment. “When I was younger, I loved entertaining,” the South Carolina native explains. “I would always entertain my parents and put on shows for everyone.” And what she love most about acting is that it allows her to experience “certain aspects of life that you wouldn’t get to or enjoy doing.”

Acting may be her destiny, but this recent high school graduate plans to go to college and major in something outside of the entertainment industry. For now, she’s staying in Hollywood but in two years, she will follow in the footsteps of her “dream leading lady” Natalie Portman and head to Harvard University. “She did a great job of becoming a child star and growing up to be a wonderful adult actor,” Brittany gushes. “You don’t see her in the media in a negative light and she has an amazing education. She has kind of the ideal career.”

Unlike the infamous pop star with a similar first name, this Brittany doesn’t get caught up in the Hollywood scene. “I don’t like going to parties with people I don’t really know or aren’t really friends with,” the teen mentions. “I would rather stay at home with close friends and kickback around my neck of the woods.”
