Dannielynn Birkhead, the daughter of late Guess model and reality star Anna Nicole Smith, will turn three years old on Sept. 7 and OK! has learned that the adorable little girl will be celebrating the date with dad Larry Birkhead with a birthday bash this weekend in Kentucky.
Larry Birkhead Moving Back East?

A year after settling into Anna Nicole Smith’s spacious Los Angeles mansion with Dannielynn, Larry Birkhead is having a change of heart and is looking for a change of location.
The Kentucky native has been considering packing up and heading back home to raise his 1-year-old daughter, where she could "grow up around my family and all her cousins," Larry tells OK!.
"I always thought [Anna Nicole's house] would be great for Dannielynn to grow up there, but there’s no yard, tons of stairs and it’s over a canyon," he says. "I need something more child-friendly."
But don’t throw a farewell party just yet. Contrary to numerous reports, Larry, 35, insists he has not set a moving date.
"Kentucky is a great place to grow up," he says. "One day down the road I’d like to take her away from all the craziness in Los Angeles."
But when father and daughter do make the move, they will already have a house to call a home.
"I bought it in [Louisville] in April for $330,000," Larry says. "It’s a fixer-upper, it needs a lot of work. I’ll have to get one of those Extreme Makeover guys to come in!"
Dannielynn Named Sole Heir to Anna Nicole’s Estate

Eighteen-month-old Dannielynn Birkhead has officially been declared the sole heir to late mother Anna Nicole Smith’s fortune, a Los Angeles judge ruled Tuesday.
The decision came five months after Howard K. Stern, executor of Anna Nicole’s estate, filed papers asking the court to name the tot as the lone heiress, thus clarifying Anna’s 2001 will, which was drafted five years before Dannielynn was born.
"We and Mr. Stern always believed that Anna Nicole never intended to disinherit her daughter," Howard’s lawyer, Bruce S. Ross, said after the hearing. "I’m pleased to say this chapter in the saga is closed."
Judge Mitchell L. Beckloff also established a trust fund for Dannielynn, naming Howard and dad Larry Birkhead as co-trustees.
In addition to her mother’s estate, Dannielynn could potentially inherit millions more from J. Howard Marshall, Anna Nicole’s second husband who left a handful of his fortune to his wife — a decision his family has contested. The battle over the money is currently still tied up in court.
Larry Birkhead Remembers His Father

Larry Birkhead’s roller-coaster year ended on a sad note when he lost his father, Larry Birkhead, Sr., earlier this week. The elder Larry passed away at the age of 66 following complications from a knee surgery, his son reveals to Entertainment Tonight.
"He just had knee surgery then was sent home with an oxygen tank because they noticed a shortness of breath," Larry says. "He was getting ready to start rehab for his knee and his lung and he collapsed in the bathroom."
The death was undoubtedly unexpected as his father was looking forward to spending his first Christmas with his granddaughter, Dannielynn, 15 months. "My dad was so excited about spending the holidays with us. He kept calling me asking when I was coming home with Dannielynn for Christmas," Larry says.
The 34-year-old photographer credits his daughter for helping him get through this difficult time, otherwise "it would be impossible to deal with." Larry says he’s trying to move on by remembering and honoring his father’s positive and good-natured outlook on life.
"He bragged to all the nurses at the hospital during his knee surgery that he was my dad and Dannielynn’s grandfather," he says. "When they didn’t believe him, he would always show them his ID with the name Larry Birkhead, then he would say, ‘but I’m the good-looking Larry Birkhead!’"
