Kristen Bell may be a newbie on Heroes, but she and a certain indestructible cheerleader are old pals.
“I’ve known Hayden Panettiere since she was 8 and I’ve watched her blossom into one of the loveliest young women out there,” she tells OK! at the Sprint Nextel and Tiffany & Co. event. “She is so articulate, so kind and so caring and I’m just proud of her. It’s like a very sisterly relationship. I adore her.”
The 27-year-old describes their friendship as “sisterly,” but you won’t catch them out and about every night. Instead, the buds prefer a girls’ night in despite what Hayden’s newly legal age may suggest.
“I don’t know about ‘go out and party’” says Kristen “She’s only 18!”
One relationship Kristen remains mum on, though, is her rumored romance with Kate Hudson’s ex, Dax Shepard. Although recently spotted out and about together, the actress opted not to address the reports.

Having apparently ended things with brief gal-pal Kate Hudson, sources in Sin City tell OK! that actor Dax Shepard may have already moved on to another blonde beauty — Heroes and Veronica Mars star Kristen Bell.
An OK! spy at the second anniversary party for Tao nightclub and restaurant in Las Vegas reports back that the pair were seen getting very friendly with each other at the celeb-filled event. And when it came time for everyone to say goodnight, who was spotted walking out the door together? None other than this twosome.
However, one partygoer says it’s not yet time to start trying to come up with a cute couples name for these two. “They left together,” confirms the witness, before adding, “but I didn’t see anything really flirty going on.”
It’s too early now to say whether or not there’s love, lust or just giggles going on, but as soon as we hear, you’ll know.
Kate Hudson’s Dating Dax Shepard…

Kate Hudson, the beautiful, successful, amazingly nice, sweet, this generation’s Meg Ryan of romantic comedy etc. etc. is dating… Dax Shepard, Ashton Kutcher’s sidekick from Punk’d. He was also in Employee of the Month with Jessica Simpson. Recent photos of the two together have left a lot of people asking, "Why?"
Well, I think I can help with this one. During a trip to a Sandals resort in Jamaica to celebrate I forget exactly what, I was paired with Dax for a day of golf. Well, he golfed as I sat next to him in the golf cart sipping a beer and asking him questions. Not that he was very good at golf. He was actually a hazard to the course and admitted to hating the sport, avoiding it except for an annual family outing. But he is smart, witty and, despite being on vacation, he holed himself up in his room to work on a script. This guy could be going places.
We hung out again with mutual friends when we were in Detroit for the Detroit GMC car show. It was a long, late night. He was bragging about being well endowed. Being a group of girls, we laughed. He offered to prove it to us. We dared him. He did — a quick flash — he wasn’t ashamed. And rightly so: He wasn’t lying.
