Teri Hatcher somehow manages to make prison orange look chic, as she digs in on the set of Desperate Housewives in L.A.’s Griffith Park on Monday. No matter how tough filming this scene might be, it can’t be as dangerous as the skit Teri did with Conan O’Brien that landed him in the hospital!

Eva Longoria Parker Says Bonjour
April 28th, 2009
Eva Longoria Parker is most likely going to start brushing up on her oui’s and ma cherie’s, as she reveals her future plans with hubby Tony Parker involve moving to France!
“Tony and I will be moving to France after Desperate Housewives," she tells Extra. "Actually after his basketball career."
Tony currently plays for the San Antonio Spurs and at only 26 (he turns 27 on May 17) he’s still at the top of his game. So don’t expect the Longoria-Parker family to be picking up and heading across the pond just yet.
"Not for awhile, but we’ll be living there for a bit,” Eva adds of their big move.
Well here’s an early bon voyage to the happy couple!
Desperate Housewives: A recap!
April 27th, 2009
Maybe it’s just me, but it’s a little weird to watch Desperate Housewives without Edie’s energy.
Sure, other people have died on the show. But they weren’t a part of the core group of gals who are Wisteria Lane.
Still, the show soldiered forward.
Lynette and Tom’s are off their sex schedule.
Their subsequent flirtatious encounters with Carlos (come on, in the back of her mind, Lynette had to think there was a chance Carlos might accidentally see her naked!) and Tom’s interactions with the town slut from the garden club, are a set up for an upcoming episode where they’ll actually deal with the lack of sexual contact in their relationship.
Here’s a hint: less talking and more doing!
While I’m sure Gaby is happy to have her old life back, it seems that Eva Longoria-Parker had more to tackle when she and her family were financially strained.
Money can’t buy you a storyline, I guess!
Of course, the heart of tonight’s story was Dave learning who was really behind the wheel of the car that killed his wife and child.
Poor Susan, if she only knew how to keep her mouth shut!
Though I can’t believe that DH executive producer Marc Cherry would even think of implying that Dave is going to hurt Susan and Mike’s five-year-old son.
Especially since Mike doesn’t seem too keen on starting a family, or even settling down with his girlfriend Catherine anytime soon…
Desperate Housewives: Another season for Andrea Bowen
April 20th, 2009
For all you Desperate Housewives fans who have been wondering what’s up with Susan daughter since she had that saucy affair with her college professor (played by Steven Weber), your curiosity will be quenched come this fall.
Andrea Bowen will return on the series next season, the TV Fanatic has learned.
She’ll be back in her signature role as Julie Mayer, who’s now a 24-year-old collegiate.
And get this! The 19-year-old actress is ready to do some sexy, steamy scenes if the script calls for it.
“That would be so funny if that happened because the crew is so used to me being such a little girl,” she shared with an OK! reporter during the 20th Annual GLAAD Media Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday.
“They would be more uncomfortable than I would!”
Catch a new episode of Desperate Housewives on Sunday, April 26 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
Gale Harold’s Back on Wisteria Lane
April 15th, 2009
Despite going through a near-fatal motorcycle accident that landed him in the hospital with serious injuries, it seems Desperate Housewives‘ Gale Harold was more nervous his character Jackson would be axed from the show than he was about recovering.
"I didn’t [watch the show while recovering] because I was a little worried about seeing something about my death delivered by letter — Jackson drowned in his cereal yesterday morning," he tells TV Guide Magazine in his first interview since the accident."I just didn’t want to get surprised by something they might not have been comfortable telling me. I was fortunate that they wanted me back."
And while it can take a long time to recover, Gale says he’s truly ready to be back on set, wooing Teri Hatcher’s character, Susan.
"With these kinds of injuries you recover at various rates. I had a very rapid recovery. I really feel back," he says of his return to the show. "[Jackson]’s back to try to rekindle their connection — whatever is left of it. He has a very important question for Susan."
Nicollette Sheridan a Frustrated Housewife
April 14th, 2009
Now that she’s no longer a Desperate Housewife, Nicollette Sheridan is coming off even more like her character, Wisteria Lane’s resident bad girl, Edie Adams.
“When the show started it was such a different beast," she dishes to TV Guide. "It was exciting and dangerous and funny and edgy and bizarre. It started feeling a little complacent, and that was very frustrating.”
So why didn’t she quit such a complacent show sooner? Legal issues, she reveals, saying all the women were "contractually bound, so there was no way out on your own terms.”
When she found Edie had been killed off, Nicollette didn’t waste a tear, she admits, as she realized she’d be leaving the show.
“I said, ‘OK, sayonara. It’s been a great ride. Thank you."
Happy trails, Nicollette!
