Sarah Carter is about to get stinking’ rich. The actress has joined the cast of Dirty Sexy Money in a recurring role.
Sarah plays Wrenn, an every day gal from a middle class family who becomes very taken by the Darlings’ ridiculously hedonistic lifestyle. Hard to blame her.
Sarah was last seen playing James Woods’ daughter on the cancelled CBS series Shark.
Look for TV to up its wealth quotient when Dirty Sexy Money returns Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 10 p.m. on ABC.
Ryan Seacrest Voted Sexiest Smile

The results of Victoria’s Secret’s 2008 What Is Sexy list are in — Ryan Seacrest officially has the world’s sexiest smile. "What’s sexy about him is he doesn’t act like he is," Victoria’s Secret spokeswoman Monica Mitro tells the A.P. "We felt that his smile was quite sexy — in a very subtle and innocent and humble way."
Seacrest is one of a handful of stars to make the lingerie giant’s "sexy" list. Eva Mendes was voted sexiest actress, and star of ABC’s Lost Josh Holloway made Sexiest Beach Body. Other honorees include Victoria Beckham for Sexiest Mom and Katherine Heigl and husband Josh Kelly as Sexiest Newlyweds.
Other sexy celebs include Dane Cook (sexiest funnyman), Eric Bana (sexiest actor) Scarlett Johansson (sexiest style), Jessica Biel (sexiest lips), Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively (sexiest newcomer), Fergie and Josh Duhamel (sexiest couple), Kate Bosworth (sexiest eyes) and Ali Larter (sexiest legs).
And ABC’s Dirty Sexy Money — which stars Peter Krause and William Baldwin — was voted sexiest cast.
Victoria’s Secret Supermodel Adriana Lima will host a one hour special called Victoria’s Secret: What Is Sexy? 2008, set to air Feb. 9 on the E! Channel.
William Baldwin: Fatherhood’s the Greatest Thing in My Life

On the new juicy drama Dirty Sexy Money, William Baldwin is a transvestite-loving senator and an heir to a multibillion dollar fortune, but in real life, he’s just dad.
“It’s the greatest thing in my life,” Baldwin tells OK!, of being dad to his three children, Jamieson, 7, Vance, 6, and Brooke, 3, with wife Chynna Phillips.
The 44-year-old adds that he is so consumed with his family that he has no social life.
“I’ve got to get friends outside of my family," he jokes. "I’ve got to get hobbies outside of my family. Ever since my daughter was born seven years ago, all I do when I’m not working is hang out with my wife and kids.”
William and Chynna do make time for each other though. “My wife and I do have a date night,” he says. “We go out Wednesdays and Saturdays. Well, we always go out Saturdays.”
Dirty Sexy Money Premiere!

ABC’s new series Dirty Sexy Money is about a filthy rich, dysfunctional family that doesn’t mind paying someone else to solve their problems. While I couldn’t afford a plane ticket to Tinseltown to attend the series’ premiere party held on the Paramount lot Sunday night, I did spring on the cost of a phone call to an LA-based friend who scored an invite to the night’s festivities.
Sally the Security Guard wasn’t letting anyone without an invite crash the party, with good reason. The cast’s leading ladies were draped in Bvlgari jewelry, one of the night’s sponsors, and dined on veggies, chicken skewers and Mount Gay Rum dirty mojitos. “I hadn’t picked out a dress when I chose my jewelry, so I decided on emeralds because green is pretty classic and goes with almost everything,” said Natalie Zea, who plays unlucky-in-love Darling daughter Karen. “Apparently, her I.Q. is through the roof," said Natalie of her character. "But I don’t think she ever found too much interest in her intellect, as she never thought it to be terribly sexy. So, instead, she indulges her romantic side, which leads her to a lot of heartache." While the actress is happily involved with Scrubs’ Travis Schuldt, Karen will be focusing her energy on winning back her former lover, namely the family’s new lawyer Nick George, played by Six Feet Under alum Peter Krause. “She’s been going after nick, in her mind, all her life. Why would it stop now?” Natalie laughed. Gotta love a woman who sets goals!
Dirty Sexy Money premieres Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 10 p.m. on ABC.
