Shia La Beouf has a suspended driver’s license, so it’s a little surprising to hear that someone is claiming he scratched another car in a fender bender.
Celebuzz reports that a driver in the Los Feliz neighborhood of L.A. called them up to tell them that Shia bumped the rear end of her Nissan while merging at an intersection. She also recounted the inicident on her Twitter page.
However, Shia’s reps are saying that’s a no go, and that he wasn’t in the neighborhood or at the wheel anywhere at all.
"This story is completely fabricated," a spokeswoman for Shia told Celebuzz. "Shia was in Santa Monica with friends for the afternoon in question. This must be a clear case of mistaken identity."
The woman says the story is true however, adding that Shia was wearing a brown hat, white shirt and sneakers, and that they even joked around while exchanging insurance information .
During Thursday’s emergency hearing in the Britney Spears vs. Kevin Federline custody case, Mark Vincent Kaplan, attorney for K-Fed, asked the judge to issue an order forbidding Britney from driving while either of her two young boys were in the car. Ultimately, the court nixed the idea, but given Britney’s behavior only hours later, perhaps the judge should have listened.
