Lindsay’s attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, confirmed the news to OK!. Later in the afternoon, the troubled actress was spotted getting her hair done at the Andy LeCompt hair salon in West Hollywood. Nothing like a day of beauty to de-stress!

Cops Expect Lilo to “Turn Herself In”

March 15th, 2009

A day after a warrant was issued for Lindsay Lohan’s arrest, OK! has learned that police expect the Mean Girls star to turn herself in for a probation violation relating to her 2007 DUI.

"I have a feeling she will eventually turn herself in. If she does come in, it’s pretty simple. We book her, and if she posts bail, she’s on her way," Beverly Hills Police Department spokesman Sargeant Mike Foxen tells OK!.

Despite Lindsay going on record calling the warrant, which has a $50,000 bail bill, "completely fabricated," Foxen tells OK!, "Well, she’ll be very enlightened, won’t she? I think in time she’ll come to realize that the best thing for her to do is turn herself in. Whether it’s a bench warrant or not, a warrant is a warrant, but I doubt a team will be out there today looking for her."

A team may not have been out looking to arrest the actress today, however police did make a housecall to the Beachwood Canyon home Lohan shares with girlfriend Samantha Ronson. Three LAPD police officers were called to the house early Saturday morning–allegedly for a domestic disturbance. However the actress and her girlfriend refused to come to the door.

The couple reportedly got into the fight of the century and an eyewitness tells OK!, "One of the windows on the side of the house was completely shattered, like someone had thrown something through it. You could see the shards of glass on the cement walk below."

Could the argument have been about Lindsay’s current legal woes? Whatever the girls were fighting about, it seemed to quiet down throughout the afternoon as cops kept the crowds of tourists and paparazzi at bay. With Ronson’s white Maserati parked outside, the couple seemed content to hole up inside their house. Just after 7 p.m. PST, three Kardashian sisters look-a-likes arrived at the house carrying blue Alcoholics Annonymous books. They stayed for about an hour, and then left through the side entrance, saying nothing to photographers as they got into their Mercedes and sped away.

Chris Rock’s Brother Visits the Big House

February 18th, 2009

In yet another case of failing to learn by example, Tony Rock, Chris Rock’s younger brother, was busted early this morning for an alleged DUI and is being held in jail in L.A.

TMZ reports that Tony was pulled over around 2:40am for speeding on California’s 101 freeway, and that cops say he appeared intoxicated. Failed sobriety tests led to his arrest and subsequent lock-up.

His need for speed is apparent, as the star of The Tony Rock Project has already posted $5,000 bail and is heading out of jail, lickety-split.

Celebrities! Will they never learn? Probably not.

Shia LaBeouf’s Driver’s License Suspended

January 20th, 2009

Transformers star Shia LaBeouf has had his driver’s license suspended as a result of his July 2008 car crash.

According to Access Hollywood, LaBeouf was hit with a suspension because of a "refusal of chemical tests" in the wake of his accident, according to the DMV.

The license suspension will last for a minimum of one year. In September, the LA County DA’s office announced there was "insufficient evidence" to charge the actor with drunken driving for his involvement in the crash, which left his hand badly injured.

LaBeouf was arrested for suspicion of DUI following the accident after showing "physical signs" of being impaired, according to LA Sheriff’s Dept. spokesperson Steve Whitmore.

Sheriff’s deputies said later that LaBeouf was not at fault in the accident.

Heather Locklear Escapes DUI Charge

January 2nd, 2009

In a nice "Whew!" moment, TMZ reports that Heather Locklear’s DUI case has been dismissed, and she’s pled no contest to reckless driving instead, a lesser offense that will probably only lead to probation and a $700 fine.

The Melrose Place star was arrested in September after a witness saw her driving erratically and called the police. Cops thought she might have been operating her vehicle under theinfluence of prescription drugs, which showed up in her blood tests later.

The lucky actress was represented by popular celebrity lawyer Blair Berk in court this morning, but Heather herself was not to be found in the courtroom. Berk has also fought the DUI battle for celebs like Mel Gibson, Kiefer Sutherland and even Heather’s ex, Richie Sambora.

Stars in a Driving Daze

December 31st, 2008

Apparently some stars never learn the very important lesson that fame won’t keep you from being popped for disobeying the law: Matt Dillon, Charles Barkley, and Doug Wilson (of Trading Spaces) have all been arrested recently for bad behavior while driving.

Matt was nabbed going 106 mph in a 65 mph zone in Vermont last night. State troopers pulled the actor over around 10 p.m., and he was  fingerprinted, cited and photographed before being sent on his law-abiding way. No word on whether he was under the influence at the time.

Meanwhile, Charles was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence early this morning in Scottsdale, Ariz. after he ran a stop sign. He was also cited and released, according to reports.

Doug, better known as a designer on the popular TLC show, Trading Spaces, was pulled over and arrested early Tuesday morning after a night on the town in Illinois, according to E! News. He failed to yield to a police vehicle around one in the morning, and was taken into custody and charged with aggravated DUI, driving on a suspended license, failing to yield the right-of-way to an emergency vehicle and unlawful transportation of alcohol. He was booked into the county jail and released a few hours later on $1,000 bond.

Let’s hope these stars live and learn for the new year!

Heather Locklear Charged with DUI

November 17th, 2008

Heather Locklear has been formally charged with DUI in connection to her September arrest, according to the Santa Barbara District Attorney’s Office.

The midemeanor charge, filed in the DA’s office, found no evidence of alcohol in the actress’s system, but rather specifies that the issue was "prescription medications."

"Lab tests showed she had no alcohol in her system and no illegal narcotics of any kind," says Senior Deputy District Attorney Lee Carter, who declined to comment on what medications – or the amounts – Locklear had taken. "We believe that the prescriptions she was taking could have impaired her ability to drive a motor vehicle safely," says Carter.

If she’s convicted, Locklear, 47, could face anything from a hefty fine to six months in county jail.

Locklear was originally booked on charges of driving under the influence of drugs and being under the influence of a controlled substance. The latter charge was not filed because, says Carter, "There were no illegal substances in her system."

In addition, felony charges for Locklear "were not a possibility," because DUI cases with no injuries are always misdemeanors, he said.

An arraignment has been set for Jan. 26 in Santa Barbara Superior Court. In July, Locklear completed treatment for depression and anxiety.

What About Ava?

October 3rd, 2008

When Heather Locklear was arrested this weekend after driving erratically, she wasn’t the only one to be affected in the incident: her daughter, 11-year-old Ava Elizabeth, from her marriage to ex Richie Sambora, is sure to face some trying times ahead.

“Heather needs to set a good example for Ava, or the effects are going to be harmful for her daughter,” relationship expert Cooper Lawrence tells OK!.

“She needs to sit Ava down and explain to her that she’s been going through a rough time and has been really anxious and depressed. Heather needs to be aware that she can’t tell Ava, ‘Do as I say, not as I do.’ Ava needs to learn by example.”

In addition to this most recent rough patch, Ava’s borne her share of tough changes for such a young girl: her parents divorced in 2006 amidst rumors of an affair between Richie and Denise Richards, her mother now has a new boyfriend in Jack Wagner, and Heather checked into a psychiatric hospital in June for anxiety and depression.

For Ava’s sake, we hope Heather works things out soon!
