Ed Westwick, in character as the infamous Chuck Bass, is seen exiting an NYC hotel today as he shoots scenes for upcoming episodes of Gossip Girl. Tonight’s episode will feature the controversial threesome between leading actors in the show. Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester were spotted on the set of Gossip Girl yesterday in NYC. Leighton kept warm in a long ivory coat, while Ed was dressed in his usual Chuck Bass attire of suit and black trench coat. The on-screen couple filmed scenes at a homeless shelter in Queens. On-air promos for the much talked about threesome on an upcoming episode of Gossip Girl have triggered the Parents Television Council to ask affiliates of the CW network to reconsider the show, according to the Associated Press. The hook-up is being teased in ads as a “3SOME,” and is set to air Monday, Nov. 9. Read more »

Ed Westwick joins Natalie Portman, Barbara Walters, Kate Winslet’s hubby Sam Mendes, Jennifer Garner’s BFF Victor Garber and David Hyde Pierce Tuesday for the opening of Jude Law’s Hamlet held at NYC’s Broadhurst Theatre.
Looking dapper in a gray suit, the Gossip Girl star, 22, waves as he plows through the crowd.
“Nooooooooo!” he responds to reporters calling out his name on his way into the venue.
Ed wasn’t always so shy. When I first meet him in October 2007 — one month after Gossip Girl premieres — the recently-relocated Brit is eager to chat as he waits in line for sushi, shrimp and caviar at the Reebok Springs Into Style party held at NYC’s Hotel Gansevoort.
