Roselyn Sanchez’s Baby Plans

Following her November wedding to Eric Winter, Without a Trace star Roselyn Sanchez is ready to start a family.

"I’m 35, I need to," Roselyn told OK! at the launch of Absolut Mango at NYC’s Mango Grove. "I have three brothers. They look at me like, ‘Ros, you need to have a baby!’ I hope this year!"

As for life as a newlywed with Eric, 32, Roselyn tells OK!, "I’m a lucky girl."

The couple tied the knot in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico last Nov. 29 and only OK! was there!

The actress says she realized it was love when she met Eric’s family and saw the way he was with his mom. "I thought, ‘Wow, this guy is truly amazing," she tells OK!

There was only one thing holding Roselyn Sanchez back from marrying her love, Eric Winter – her heavy dress!

 

"I wanted a big dress," she tells OK! with a laugh, "And then I can’t even walk in my wedding gown!"

The Without a Trace star and her long-time beau married on Nov. 29 in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, surrounded by family and friends like Eva Longoria Parker, Poppy Montgomery, Anthony LaPaglia, Eric Close, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Enrique Murciano.

 

"Roselyn’s so blessed and very happy," gushed Eva.

 

Following the 40-minute ceremony, the party was treated to a fireworks show over the ocean, before moving to a lavish reception at the Caribe Hilton. Eric even got to show off his newfound salsa skills!

 

"I had Puerto Ricans coming up asking me to teach them how to dance," he says with a smile.

 

The celebrating went on until the wee hours of the night, until Roselyn finally shut the party down.

 

"Roselyn kept saying, ‘It’s going to be the Puerto Ricans that close it down,’ and it ended up being all the out-of-towners!" Eric tells OK!. "She had to kick us out!"

 

"I told the DJ to turn the music off," confirms Roselyn. "I said, ‘Everybody’s got to go to bed!’ "

The pair, who have been together for more than two years, exchanged their vows in a private ceremony, surrounded by friends and family on Saturday afternoon.

The Caribbean locale holds special significance for the newlyweds — not only was Roselyn born in San Juan, but the couple got engaged while on a holiday trip to Puerto Rico last year.

Roselyn Sanchez’s Classy Shower

Wth her nuptials to Eric Winter fast approaching on Nov. 29 in Puerto Rico, Roselyn Sanchez had her bridal shower thrown by Without a Trace co-star Poppy
Montgomery at her home in Pacific Palisades, Calif.

The bridal shower, sponsored by Orville Redenbacher Natural Lime & Salt popcorn and organized by party planner Jo Gartin (who planned Kate Walsh’s wedding), had  a “Day at the Spa” theme. OK! joined Roselyn and pals, including Eva Longoria Parker, for the girly festivities.

"My  family is in Puerto Rico,” explained Roselyn. “Eric’s mom and sister are here. They are already like family.”

So how did Poppy get involved in planning the shower?

 

"I called Roselyn and said, ‘Can I show you a bridal shower?’ " said Poppy. "She was like, ‘Yay!’ I’m happy that we are doing this together.

"Besides being on the great show Without a Trace, one of the best things was being able to have an amazing friend immediately," Roselyn told OK! of her friendship with Poppy.

Roselyn says she was happy just to be able to spend time with her friends and family at the elegant party.

 

"It’s just exquisite, classy and beautiful. I was telling [Poppy] that where I come from in Puerto Rico, I have never been to a shower like this ever," Roselyn gushed to OK!.

 

"Just the whole set up of everything, and the spa. It’s just amazing! It’s like a dream," she ays. "It is an amazing way to start my new journey once I get married."

Roselyn Sanchez Engaged

Reps for Without a Trace star Roselyn Sanchez have confirmed reports that the 34-year-old beauty and her boyfriend of two years, Days of Our Lives actor Eric Winter, were engaged over the holiday weekend during a romantic trip to the Caribbean island of Vieques.

No date has been announced yet. This will be the second marriage for Roselyn, who was previously wed to British actor Gary Stretch, and the first trip down the aisle for Eric.

TV Hunk Discovered: Eric Winter

How do you make a incredibly sexy TV guy even sexier? Let him sing all his lines. That’s why I’ll be glued to the set watching Eric Winter star in the new series Viva Laughlin, a murder mystery dramedy “with an element of singing in it,” the actor shares.

Eric plays Peter Carlyle, a smooth-talking detective trying to solve a murder by seducing the prime suspect’s wife. “I like characters that have a lot of charisma and think they can talk their way out of anything. I’ve been that way my whole life,” Eric shares. The Viva cast also breaks out into song at any given time. “It’s what people do every day, sing in their cars or at their desks,” says Eric. “If you’re feeling happy or sad about something, you often turn to a song that relates to that.”

Eric’s been taking vocal lessons, where he quickly learned that strong vocal pipes equals massive sex appeal. “Growing up, I was an athlete, and I never took those things seriously,” he shares. “Now I look back and I’m like, why am I not playing a guitar right now and singing? It’s such a great way to pick up a girl!” He’s testing out his newfound skills on his girlfriend, Without a Trace’s Rosalyn Sanchez. “She’s a singer and a dancer. For her to see me doing this stuff, it’s hysterical,” Eric laughs.

While I don’t dream about too many celebrities, Hugh Jackman – Viva’s producer and occasional star – has made a cameo in mine (we shared a latte). I had to ask: is he as nice as real life as he is in my dreams? “And not just because he’s my boss, but absolutely,” Eric declares. “From day one, before I even got the job, he was so welcoming. There was no ‘I’m a big movie star’ vibe about him, just a cool-down to earth guy who happens to be extremely talented and successful.”

Come to think of it, Hugh did pick up our tab. What a guy!

Viva Laughlin premieres Thursday, Oct. 18 at 10 p.m. on CBS.
