As for her current work in thrilling action movie The Spirit, Scarlett is pretty humble when it comes to who would win if she and co-star Eva Mendes were pitted against each other.

"Probably Eva," she admits. "I might slice her with my verbal kung fu though."

Leo & Kate: Steamy on Set!

December 3rd, 2008

One might think that having your husband tell you how to get intimate with another man could be awkward, to say the least. However Kate Winslet says her director hubby Sam Mendes was all for it when it came to scenes between his wife and Leonardo DiCaprio in Revolutionary Road.

"Sam would sort of yell from the other room, ‘No, Leo really grab her thigh! Really grab her thigh!’ " she tells Entertainment Tonight of those intimate onscreen moments. "I thought, ‘This is really strange, but I’m gonna go with it.’"

And while Kate admits it was a bit awkward to have her husband watching, Leo doesn’t seem to be the least bit phased by the love scenes with his old friend Kate.

"Not a problem in this department," Leo says. "It was right for the characters."

Leo and Kate have both come a long way from the swoon-inducing Titanic by playing grittier characters in movies like Blood Diamond and Little Children. As for current heartthrob Zac Efron, Leo thinks he’ll be okay.

"It’s a strange thing to be thrown into the public eye like that at a very young age," he says." It’s hard to navigate sometimes. Ultimately it’s all about the work. I think [Zac] very much understands it’s about doing good work and that’s what will last."

Michael J. Fox: I Love My Life

November 5th, 2008 / Author: OK! Staff

But now, with a four-part guest spot on Rescue Me, the actor will have face the challenge of staying still to play a paralyzed, wheelchair-bound man.

"The funny part is me playing a paralyzed guy because I am the opposite of paralyzed," he tells Entertainment Tonight in an interview airing this evening. "It’s tricky just to even just to be still."

The character is a far cry from the good guys Michael usually plays on screen, which will be another stretch for the veteran actor, one he’s looking forward to.

"[Dennis Leary] called me up and described [the character]," he says. "He is really dark and misanthropic. He’s bitter and nasty. It’s really fun."

George Takei Fires Back at Shatner

October 23rd, 2008

In an odd four-minute YouTube speech, William Shatner responds bitterly to the question of why he wasn’t invited to Star Trek co-star George Takei’s wedding.

"Well the whole thing makes me feel badly," he says in the video. "Poor man, there’s such a sickness there. It’s so painfully obvious there’s a psychosis there."

Apparently William thinks he was left off the guest list because of something George has held against him for years, but he plays clueless in the video.

"I don’t know what his orginal thing about me was," he says. "I have no idea."

But now George has responded to William’s video missive, saying Captain Kirk was invited to his Sept. 15 wedding ceremony.

"It’s absolutely baffling to us because we did invite Bill and we didn’t hear from him!" George tells Entertainment Tonight. "But it wasn’t surprising because it’s true to his history. He’s never responded to an invitation. Every time there was something happy to celebrate amongst us, he never showed up."

As for William’s comments that George is suffering from a "psychosis," he fires back, "I think his stability is quite questionable. Bill likes to be the star of the show. He likes the attention focused on him. It’s a big, shiny, demanding ego. It’s all typical of Bill. His ranting and raving is just silliness."

Don’t expect the newlywed to bear a grudge against his former co-star, however. George says he’ll keep doing what he always has when it comes to William.

"We keep reaching out and he takes it and turns it into something ugly. But I’ll keep extending a hand to him."

October 22nd, 2008

It’s been a bumpy road lately for Natalie Cole – the singer recently revealed she has been struggling with Hepatitis C, a disease she thinks she contracted in her drug-ridden past, and has been in and out of the hospital.

And now she has a new health battle to fight.

"They told me… ‘Your lungs have filled up with fluid and your kidney is functioning at 10%,’ " Natalie reveals to Entertainment Tonight about a recent health scare in NYC. "They would have found me either unconscious or dead. I think I was on my way out."

The "Unforgettable" singer is still battling Hepatitis C, and she’s now on dialysis.

"I was in denial that I was close to dying until after 3-4 days of being hospitalized and them putting me on dialysis," she says. "I had a lot of time to think. The first thing I knew is that I will never work the same way again. Three hours a day, three times a week (during dialysis) I just sit there and am glad that there is something to keep me going."

Natalie’s next step to wellness could involve a serious step – an organ transplant.

"The kidneys could repair themselves, but we still don’t know," she admits. "We’re looking at a possible transplant. My son and sister have already volunteered."

But even with her health problems, the daughter of music legend Nat King Cole is determined to fight through it all.

"I haven’t felt as good as I do today in 7 weeks. I feel really good. I’m a trooper," she says. I’m one of those ‘the show must go on’ people! I’m a survivor. I don’t believe in giving up until the fat lady sings."
