Tim Allen Gets Ready for Baby #2

The last time Tim Allen had to get ready to be a dad was 20 years ago, before daughter Katherine was born. And now the Home Improvement star, 55, isn’t quite sure how to handle fatherhood this time around!

 

"We’re both really excited about it but things have changed," he tells Extra of expecting a baby with wife Jane Hadjuk. "It’s overwhelming. There’s so much stuff to look at!"

 

And while being a father again might be a heady experience, there’s one experience no parent wants to go through – the loss of a child. Father to father, Tim offered a message of condolence for his Wild Hogs co-star, John Travolta, on the tragic passing of his son, Jett.

 

"We sent him a message from our family and I sent a personal email to him. He loved that boy and that family loved that boy. That’s all he talked about on the set," he says. "He was so proud of him. It broke my heart. It’s terrible news and there’s nothing you can say that’s helping. I just hope somewhere they find clarity and peace."

From "Tool Time" to diaper duty: Home Improvement funnyman Tim Allen and wife Jane Hajduk are expecting their first child together this spring.

 

“Tim Allen and his wife Jane are ecstatic at the upcoming birth of their first child together," the actor’s rep, Marleah Leslie, confirms to OK!. "The baby is due in Spring  2009.”

 

Tim, 55, and Jane, 42, were married in a small family ceremony in Grand Lake, Colo.  in October of 2006, after dating for five years. This is the couple’s first child together; Tim is also father to 19-year-old Katherine "Kady" Allen, his daughter from his first marriage to high school sweetheart Laura Diebel.

 

The star of The Santa Clause films and his actress wife have appeared in a few movies together, including Zoom and the comedy The Shaggy Dog.

 

Tim’s next film Crazy on the Outside is due out later this year, while his voice talents as Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story 3 will debut in 2010.

Angie Reveals Her Baby Bump!

While she is yet to confirm her pregnancy, Angelina Jolie left no doubt that she’s eating for two at Saturday’s Spirit Awards, where the sexy star proudly displayed a significant baby bump as she posed on the red carpet with long time love, Brad Pitt.

Wearing a black, form-fitting satin dress that did nothing to hide the Oscar-winner’s swollen belly, this had to be Brangelina’s unofficial way of announcing to the world, "We’re having a baby."

A witness tells OK!, "Angelina looked about four months along."

Who needs a confirmation? A picture says a thousand words!

 

 

Jason Biggs & Fiancée Not Expecting

You can’t always believe what you hear. For example, while the gossip blogs have been crowing that American Pie star Jason Biggs and his fiancée Jenny Mollen are expecting their first child together, OK! has learned that’s not quite the case.

While we’d love to be sending the young couple a basket of baby presents, a rep for the couple confirms to OK! that "Jenny is 100% NOT pregnant."

The couple met six months ago on the set of My Best Friend’s Girl  and the 29-year-old actor proposed to his future bride, 28, at the end of January.

Maybe these two will be the first young Hollywood couple to buck the baby-before-marriage trend of the last few years!
