With the countdown on to the July 15 release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the good folks at Extra have posted some new clips and behind-the-scenes footage from the highly anticipated film.

If there’s anyone who knows a thing or two about being famous — even if some people don’t know exactly why she’s famous — it’s Paris Hilton. So perhaps that’s why the celebutante and reality star feels like she has some advice to share with newly famous singer Susan Boyle.
"I think Susan has an amazing voice," Paris tells <a href="http://extratv.warnerbros.com/2009/06/paris_hilton_gives_susan_boyle.php" target="_blank">Extra</a> about the singer who recently rose to worldwide stardom from out of nowhere thanks to her runner-up finish on Britain’s Got Talent. "But she needs to work on the pose… I think she should come up with something new… since she’s such a huge celebrity now… I suggest getting a stylist. She could look really hot if she just wore some pretty dresses."
Who says you need advanced motor functions to enjoy Sin City? Apparently little Sunday Rose Urban is a big fan of Las Vegas, even if she’s not even a year old yet.
“She loves it," Nicole Kidman told Extra at last night’s Academy of Country Music Awards." She’s been out and about. I think because it’s so colorful. It’s big for her. She lives on a farm. This is a big city.”
Nicole, who was right by her hubby Keith Urban’s side to support him at the ceremony, can’t help being proud of her man and his new album, Defying Gravity.
“Sunday and I are his biggest fans. We love it," gushed Nicole, as Keith added, “[They’re my] biggest inspiration, too.” Awww!
Before she was Star Jones, famous TV personality, she was a teenage girl struggling with a weight problem and a scary diagnosis.
"I was diagnosed with a tumor in my chest cavity," she tells Extra in an interview airing tonight of her health scare as a teen. "It left me with some physical scars and some emotional ones and I used to do everything in my power to hide the scar on the center of my chest."
"When they took the bandages off in the hospital, I had a complete nervous breakdown, almost," she adds. "[I wasp] crying because I saw my chest with stitches and sutures and it really devastated me at 19 years old."
Star also says the radiation treatment she underwent affected her weight.
"My thyroid was completely irradiated. So I saw myself balloon over the years and then that coupled with being lethargic and sedentary and overeating and relying on food, it just became an epidemic," says the formerly overweight TV personality.
Star will continue to shed light on her 160-pound weight loss on Oprah tomorrow, praising the daytime diva by saying,"She gives you a very safe place to share and sort of free yourself from demons. Oprah has been very candid about her weight struggles and I think it gave me a little bit of camaraderie to know that I was not just talking to her but I was talking to a number of her viewers who face the same struggle daily."
In light of all that’s going down right now with Rihanna and Chris Brown, C-list singer Jesse McCartney might want to consult with a publicist before he opens his mouth next time about who he wants to record with.
"I love what they do professionally," he tells Extra in a perfect example of foot-in-mouth disease. "I’d love to work with both of them."
Really? That’s what he’s thinking about?
While they do both have successful recording careers, their violent fight, which left Rihanna battered and bruised, has been at the forefront of everyone’s minds when it comes to them as a duo.
Apparently Jesse missed that one.
In case anyone was wondering, Lily Allen will tell you what she thinks – first it was her thoughts on drugs and alcohol, and now she’s saying she wouldn’t mind taking it all off for cameras!
“I’m just very comfortable in my body," she admits to Extra in an interview airing tonight. "I wouldn’t do it in a ‘Hey-Look-At-My-Boobs kind of way. ‘ ”(Is there any other way?)
Although her new album is called The Fear, the slimmed-down singer doesn’t admit to being afraid of too much these days, after having lived in the media’s spotlight for a few years now.
“I Google myself about ten times a day and that’s the truth," she says of keeping up with the latest gossip. "They bother me if they’re inaccurate in which case I sue… In which case it doesn’t bother me because I make money out of it!”
So if she’s not afraid of fame or getting naked, what is she scared by?
“Probably dying alone… and pigeons maybe," she reveals. "I just don’t like when you walk near them and they fly towards you and they flap their wings fast.”
While he remains out of public sight, Chris Brown’s family is coming to his defense after his arrest on Sunday for allegedly making criminal threats to his girlfried Rihanna and reportedly hitting her.
"He’s always been a good boy. Never violent," Chris’ sister Lytrell Bundy tells Extra.
As for how Chris is coping right now with the frenzy of activity surrounding his arrest and subsequent realse on $50K bail, his sister says he’s okay.
“He’s doing good," she says. "He’s coping… He’s doing as to be expected.”
Seeing Travis Barker sporting an arm sling at last night’s Grammy Awards was a stark reminder of the fatal plane crash he and DJ AM survived last September.
No need to worry too much over the recovering musician, however, as Travis explained to Extra.
"I kind of rushed out of the hospital and my hand was numb, but I didn’t tell anybody. I just wanted to get out. The numbness didn’t go away," he says. "It was like in four or five of my fingers. I really wanted to fix it as soon as possible. I had bad nerve damage, so I just got surgery. I have eight to ten weeks to recover."
Helping him to get better will surely be his longtime friends and Blink 182 bandmates– the guys recently announced they’ll be reuniting to make music together once again.
"When you’re in a band, you have this unspoken bond. You’re kind of family with your boys. We took a break for a little bit," explains Tom DeLeonge. "I think when Travis had the event happen to him it was something that pulled us back together… We always knew it was inevitable."
Almost as soon as critics started commenting on Jessica Simpson’s weight after she appeared in tight denim high-waisted jeans onstage recently, her friends and family stepped up to defend her, including sister Ashlee Simpson and brother-in-law Pete Wentz.
And now even more support is being sent her way, from a slightly unexpected source – ex-husband Nick Lachey, who usually keeps mum on the topic of Jess.
"I wish her nothing but the best and I hope she’s happy – whatever size that comes in,” he tells Extra. "I can’t believe it’s this big of a story and people are making such a huge deal about it. I’ll never cease to be amazed by people’s reactions to things.”
Nick is all about spreading good will these days: He’s currently in Tampa, Fla. with Jimmie Johnson to kick off Super Skins Celebrity Golf Classic, which will raise money for the Nick Lachey Foundation and Jimmie Johnson Foundation.
"The point is for everybody to have a chance to earn some valuable money for their charity," he says. "Everyone who played last year, had such a great time, [they] came back this year. We’re very fortunate."
