Christian Bale’s Mom “Upset” Over Tirade

Defending your kids is overrated–especially when they make an ass of themselves, throwing a tantrum in front of a movie crew.

Christian Bale’s estranged mother is speaking out about her son’s f-bomb-infused rant, calling the entire thing "upsetting."

You might remember it was just last summer that Bale’s mom reported him to the police following an alleged assault at London’s Dorchester Hotel. Jenny Bale, 61, told Britain’s Telegraph that she understood her son’s anger at the time but that his foul-mouthed tirade on the set of the Terminator film was disturbing for her to hear.

 

"I haven’t spoken to Christian about it, but I have listened to most of it and he was clearly very angry," she said. "He is a perfectionist and if you are doing an intense scene and someone is spoiling a shot, it takes time to get it back."

Jenny Bale continues, "It sounds as if a lighting engineer got in the shot so I can understand his anger, but not the length of his tirade."

Bale’s mom, who clarifies that the incident on the Terminator set happened "before the incident with him and myself at the Batman premiere with all the publicity," says she hopes "people might now realize that that is his temper, they might understand it a bit more. I wish he hadn’t carried on so long or so fiercely, it was upsetting to hear him."

The entire rant was recorded on audio tape and leaked onto the internet earlier this week, even spawning a remix dance hit popular on Youtube. Terminator Salvation’s assistant director, Bruce Franklin, defended Bale yesterday.

 

"It was the most emotional scene in the movie," said Franklin. "And for him to get stopped in the middle of it … he is very intensely involved in his character. He didn’t walk around like that all day long. It was just a moment and it passed."

Christian Bale: Afflicted actor or Hollywood diva?

A few months ago, the actor lost his temper and started yelling and screaming–even threatening–a director of photography on the set of the film Terminator Salvation after he ruined a scene by walking onto the set.

Bale lost it, screaming expletives and telling the DP he distracted him, growling "seriously, man we’re f***ing done professionally." Bale even threatened to walk off the movie if the guy wasn’t fired by the big bosses. And the best part? The whole thing was recorded.

TMZ has obtained the audio tape (WARNING: the tape contains very explicit content!)

Film execs sent the tape to the insurance company that insured the film in case Bale bailed.

Report: LiLo and Samantha Ronson Split!

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson have parted ways after ringing in the new year with a series of spats and public feuds.

According to Access Hollywood, a source close to Lindsay confirms that the couple have broken up and Lindz has moved out of the West Hollywood house she shared with Ronson.

Trouble started brewing in the couple’s recently rocky relationship last Tuesday at club Set in Miami, where despite the presence of their loved ones, the two engaged in a verbal argument.

 

"Both their families were there, and Lindsay and Samantha just started going at it,” a source told the New York Post, which first reported the story of their fighting.

 

And on New Year’s Eve, things went from bad to worse as Lindsay and Samantha hosted a bash together at club Mansion, where the two reportedly began another fight in public, before taking their shouting match outside.

 

According to the Post, Lindsay screamed, "When I storm off, you are supposed to follow me!"

The outside fracas caught extra attention as a bystander claimed it occurred in front of a vagrant.

"It was a really gross alley. There was a bum eating a sandwich and watching the whole thing," a source told the paper. "Lindsay was really unstable and flipping out."
The paper claims the war of words later turned to a physical altercation back at the hotel the two women were staying at.

"They were punching each other – it was bad," another source told the paper. "And they were doing this in front of all of us. It was scary."

The Post reported that the fight caught the attention of the hotel’s security who were dispersed to take photos of the room the girls reportedly trashed.

"Mirrors were broken and it was a complete mess,” a source said.

Things reportedly continued at the airport as the women boarded a flight home.

A rep for Lindsay reportedly confirmed the girls engaged in a verbal fracas.

"There was an argument - I don’t know the details - but they left for LA together and it’s fine," the rep told the Post.

After months of speculation, Lindsay only confirmed she was dating Samantha, last fall.

According to the source close to Lindsay, the actress will soon be joined in Los Angeles by her little sister Ali, as she starts her life without Samantha.

Lindsay & Sam in Couples Counseling

Could there be trouble in paradise for Lindsay Lohan and galpal Samantha Ronson?

 

The New York Post’s Page Six reports that the high-profile twosome are speaking with a couples counselor to smooth over their problems.

 

According to a source, LiLo and SamRo "are fighting like cats and dogs," and "they fight every day, screaming, crying and yelling at each other."

Eek, that doesn’t sound good — especially in light of a what seemed to be a few public spats recently. London’s Sun newspaper reported that the duo agrued outside Boujis in London after Sam had DJ’ed a show, saying "all hell broke loose," leaving Lindsay in tears after the fight.

 

Page Six’s source goes on to add that "Sam and Lindsay are still very much together and very much in love, but drama just seems to follow Lindsay, and Sam hates it. She deals with Lindsay every day. And every day for Sam means questioning, ‘Is this worth it?’ "

 

Another bit of evidence includes a video posted online of Lindsay curtly ordering Sam to "pull the car up" as paparazzi snapped away.

 

"The things they argue about have to do with their age difference," the source says. "But no matter what happens, at the end of the day, they are always fine."

Pete Wentz Sued for Alleged Assault

After a few blissful weeks of engagment announcements and baby rumors, the other shoe has finally dropped for Fall Out Boy, Pete Wentz.

TMZ is reporting the rocker is being sued by a man who claims he and his security team beat him within an inch of his life, during a Fall Out Boy show last year.

Andy Kallas says he was watching the band perform at Schuba’s Tavern in Chicago, when Wentz (who’s engaged to Ashlee Simpson and the father of her baby) and his posse began beating on him for several minutes. Kallas says the fight was completely unprovoked and came out of nowhere, however other sources say Kallas was being loud during the show, heckling the band, and shouting obnoxious things just prior to the fight.

A spokesperson for Pete tells OK!, "This case is meritless. We looked into it and the facts don’t support his claims.  We will vigorously defend this case in court."

Kallas is suing both Pete and the Chicago club for unspecified amounts in damages, claiming he suffered "serious injuries to his head, mouth and face."

Ouch!
