Aimee Teergarden Models for Charity

October 7th, 2008

Friday Night Lights star Aimee Teergarden, 18, hosted the 5th annual YMI Jeans Fashion Show in Hollywood on Monday night–an evening with a performance by Nina Sky and a runway show that included Teergarden as one of the models.

Proceeds from the event benefited the L.A. County Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Also in the crowd were American Idol contestant Kimberly Caldwell and actress Kay Panabaker.

OK! caught up with Aimee where she talked about the new season of Friday Night Lights.

"Fans can expect it to be more like season one, a lot more drama," Teergarden told OK!. "A lot more Tim Riggins. It’s definitely back to the first season, the original storylines and the storylines really interconnect as opposed to everybody having their own storylines."

Aimee also reveals there may be a few cast members going separate ways. "We lose two of our cast members," she said. "They kind of go off and join the real world. I don’t know if I can say who….The older ones…Let’s put it that way!"

But then she clarifies, "We’re not killing them off. I hope not, at least."

Why Won’t Minka Kelly Talk About John Mayer?

November 12th, 2007 / Author: cwillett

Despite being photographed all around the world with smarty-pants singer John Mayer, it appears that actress Minka Kelly just will not own up to being John’s lady du jour.

The latest “no comment” on the romance came Monday afternoon at the Salute Our Troops benefit in NYC, where the 27-year-old Friday Night Lights actress refused to talk to reporters about anything other than her NBC show, which she reveals will shut down in a few weeks because of the current Writers’ Guild strike.

And yet, the previous evening, Minka and John were together courtside at Madison Square Garden to watch the New York Knicks go up against the Miami Heat. Perhaps Minka just lives by the old “a picture is worth 1,000 words” motto.
