Matt LeBlanc’s Comeback
October 2nd, 2009 / Author: OK! StaffJen Doesn’t Want Old Friends
May 6th, 2009
Oh Jen, don’t tease us!
Jennifer Aniston isn’t saying whether or not she’d be on board for a Friends reunion movie, but she knows she doesn’t want Ross and Rachel walking into Central Park with canes.
"They do want to know that all the time," she tells MTV News when asked whether or not a reunion is going to happen. "I dont think so, and if they do, they should hurry up."
Friends has been off the air – at least new episode of it – for years now, but that’s not the sole reason Jen thinks those in charge need to get the lead out of their pants and start working on it if it is a reality.
"Well, it’s been off the air, but you also don’t want it to be that reunion show or movie where you see — like when the Brady Bunch had a reunion and they were old."
As if Jen could ever look old, compared to normal human beings!
The former Rachel Green did get to have a bit of a mini-reunion with her co-star in Management, Steve Zahn – he guest-starred on one episode of Friends back in the second season as Phoebe’s ice-dancer husband.
"I did one show," he said. "I still have people walk up to me … all the time [and say], ‘You’re Phoebe’s husband!’ That was three days out of my life!"

Chace Crawford’s Friend-ly Old Gig
July 11th, 2008 / Author: OK! Staff
Less than five years ago, Chace Crawford was an aspiring actor trying to make way in Hollywood. Unlike some though, the up-and-comer got a crash course in schmoozing with the A-list at Geoffrey’s Restaurant.
While studying at Pepperdine University, Chace made some pocket money working as a valet at the Malibu eatery, where he handled rides for some famous Friends.
“He used to park Jennifer Aniston’s and Courteney Cox’s cars,” an insider tells OK!.
Trying to take advantage of his cushy gig, the Gossip Girl star, who turns 23 on July 18, would politely pick the actresses’ brains on breaking into the biz.
“He would ask their advice on acting and even get starstruck by the Friends stars’ beauty," the source says. "He said they were always sweet and tipped well.”
Hopefully Chace does the same now!
Denied: No Big-Screen Reunion for Friends
July 7th, 2008 / Author: OK! Staff
As reported by OK! last week, it looks like any rumors you’ll be seeing a big-screen version of hit NBC sitcom Friends are just that — rumors.
Not long after the first report appeared in London’s Daily Mail last week, reps for several of the show’s stars came out of the woodwork to shoot down the report that the cast, spurred on by the success of the recent Sex and the City feature film, had agreed to get together one last time.
"Nothing is happening in this regard," said Matthew Perry’s rep in a statement. "The rumor is false."
This sentiment was echoed by David Schwimmer’s publicist, who said, "there’s been no discussion about it."
And dealing the final blow to the rumor was a rep for Jennifer Aniston, who said that his client was unaware of any such project, and who questioned by she would have any interest in revisiting her sitcom days.
OK! Interview: David Schwimmer
March 24th, 2008
Four years after the Friends said goodbye, David Schwimmer has kept himself busy. His current project is directing the comedy Run Fat Boy Run, about a man afraid to commit, starring British comedian Simon Pegg, Hank Azaria and British beauty Thandie Newton. OK! caught up with David and his girlfriend, a photographer named Zoe, at the New York screening of the movie.
What are your best memories of Friends?
Aw, you know. Just working with the writers and the terrific acting ensemble. Every day was just great! It was the best job we ever had!
Why did you choose to direct this project?
I’ve been reading scripts for about four or five months and this was just hands down the funniest script I read. I actually thought it was a mistake that it came into my lap, you know? I just — as soon as I put down the script, I called my manager and said, "I have to get this movie." It took two years to get it and a year and a half to make it, so four years later, it’s finally here and I’m just really excited.
So, do you think this movie could be a message to slackers everywhere to get their act together?
I think it’s a message to anyone! To all of us! I mean, the idea is that if you see a better version of yourself, you can work hard and realize it — make it happen. The movie has a positive message or I wouldn’t have been attracted to it.
What’s next for you?
I’m co-writing something right now — a dramatic thriller to direct. And I’ve just acted in a film — I’m playing Kate Beckinsdale’s husband in a political thriller called Nothing but the Truth. Directing took a year and a half – so I’m now trying to get back into the acting game as well– keep it fresh.

New Couple Alert? Lindsay Price & Matthew Perry
February 6th, 2008 / Author: OK! Staff
At the unofficial party for Lipstick Jungle at Dip in NYC on Feb. 2, former Friends star Matthew Perry had partygoers confused — Why was he there when he’s not on the show?
Well, according to one source, it appears that the 38-year-old actor might have a semi-secret thing going with one of the new show’s stars — the lovely Lindsay Price. "He snuck in to meet up with Lindsay," the source reveals to OK!, adding that the pair exited the club together later in the evening.
The 31-year-old beauty has reportedly ended her three-year marriage to TV producer Shawn Piller.
OK! Interview: Helio Castroneves
January 29th, 2008 / Author: cwillett
Helio Castroneves raced to first place and into the hearts of millions during his championship run on Dancing With the Stars. Along with the Mirrorball trophy, he earned stateside celebrity status and became another athlete household name. The 32-year-old IndyCar driver, who split with fiancee Aliette Vasquez after his DWTS win, opens up to OK! about his newfound fame, why he won’t be acting any time soon and his plans for Valentine’s Day.
How does it feel being a celebrity now?
It’s different now, but I feel like the same person. I have not changed much. I haven’t gotten a big ego or anything. I’m enjoying it very much. I know that when the next Dancing With the Stars finishes, I will be yesterday’s news! [Laughs] Seriously, I am having fun with it, but it’s kind of weird having people talk about your personal life in the media.
You are part of the celebrity scene both in Brazil and now in America due to Dancing With the Stars. What are your thoughts about being associated with such two strong countries?
People know me now as a dancer from the show and it feels great. I think as long as you know how to conduct yourself, it’s great. In my business, I represent many sponsors and partners and you have to take care of that image so I am happy to be part of both countries in a way.
How has the transition from being famous athlete to famous TV star been for you?
It’s kind of hard now because everywhere I go people ask me, "Can I dance with you?” I tell them I don’t know how to dance and they say, "Well you won a competition so you must know!" But I just follow steps and I don’t know how to do any kind of choreography! At the end of the day, it’s all good.
What are your thoughts on your home country of Brazil getting so much recognition through the entertainment, modeling and tourism industries?
To be honest, Brazilian people are fun people and the country is amazing. It’s full of beautiful people. I love the beaches. Gisele Bundchen made a name for herself in the world of modeling, but there are many other beautiful women in the country! Plus the weather is amazing and the country also has many famous athletes and models as well.
Now that you are famous for winning Dancing With the Stars, have you thought about going Hollywood?
I don’t think I would be a good actor! People enjoyed Dancing With the Stars because I was myself and every time they told me to say something, I would say my own words so I don’t think I could follow a script well! [Laughs] But if I had the chance, I would have to prepare myself well. After Dancing With the Stars, I would never say never!
Who are some Hollywood actresses that you would like to work with and why?
I like people with a good sense of humor, like Jennifer Aniston. She is amazing and is a great actress. I like Friends very much. Also Penelope Cruz would be a great.
What do you like about American entertainment culture the most?
You guys throw in a good sense of humor in everything you do, which is nice, and you also show respect in some areas as well.
Do you have any thoughts about Heath Ledger’s passing?
It was a shock, a shock. It’s so sad and he was such a young and very talented actor. I saw Brokeback Mountain and Heath did a great job. My prayers go out to his family.
With all your traveling, touring and now being the brand spokesperson for [rum-maker] Leblon, how do you relax on your days off?
Believe it or not, I just like to stay home in Miami and hang out with my dog Tuggi [a Beagle], and boy, he is a troublemaker! When I am traveling, my sister whom I am very close to, takes care of him. I am really a homebody. I also work out every day and I do follow a strict diet — no red meat on the days of racing, no pork and lots of salads, fish, fruit. When I feel like having a drink, it’s Leblon of course!
Why did you decide to lend your image and name to Leblon?
It has a lot to do with where I come from, the place, the people and the image of something so clean, fun and exciting. It’s also a great drink and people will fall in love with it like they do with Brazil!
Do you have any plans for Valentine’s Day?
When is it? [Laughs] Only kidding! I’m not sure what I am doing yet. I still have time to plan.
Are you dating anyone now?
No, I am single right now and just having fun.
