Watch Out, Matt Lauer Crossing!

March 26th, 2009

Lest you think there’s any bad blood between competing morning shows Today (NBC) and Good Morning America (CBS), think again: After Today host Matt Lauer got into a biking accident with a deer over the weekend and injured his arm, his rivals at GMA sent over a little token of their affection.

A production assistant from ABC came over with a "Matt X-Ing" bright yellow sign to warn any possible pedestrians off the road when Matt’s around.

Levi Johnston Wants Bristol Palin Back

March 16th, 2009

While the engagement is off between Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston, the young dad says it was a joint decision to break up, speaking to Good Morning America from the driver’s seat of his red pickup truck in Wasilla, Alaska.

"Both of ours," he says about who decided to split.

As for why, Levi is accepting at least part of the blame.

"Just me not being mature enough or something," he says. "[It's] better for us to separate for awhile."

The new father says he sees his son Tripp whenever he wants to, adding, "I’d give everything for him, anything to be with him… a lot changes when you’re a father."

There could be a marriage in the future still – Levi still hopes that he and Bristol will be a couple again.

"We both had our tough times with each other, we’ll see what happens," he says. "I’d like to get back together with her, [but] I’m not sure what she’s thinking. Whatever happens happens."

Outside her own family, Angelina Jolie is an Oscar-winning superstar of an actress. But the Changeling star, who’s nominated for another Oscar for her role in that film, definitely puts her family with Brad Pitt first, including her man’s movies!

"I feel very very lucky that I have won in the past," she told Good Morning America this morning (Angie won Best Supporting Actress for Girl, Interrupted in 1999. "Listen, it’s lovely to be nominated. But I’m hoping Benjamin Button does really good on the night…. I’m rooting for Brad."

Awards aside, Angie even prefers watching Brad’s work over her own, admitting, "I like the process of doing them more than watching them. No, I just, I don’t really like to watch movies. I love to watch Brad’s movies."

Despite her successful acting career her six kids – Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne – will always take precedence over everything else in her life. After her kids, Angie says her priorities are being a partner to Brad, followed by her philanthropic work around the globe.

"[I'm] trying to educate myself and trying to learn about the world, and trying to do some good things while I’m alive," she reveals.
