If you’re competing for the same title, it’s smart to make sure you’re doing everything your opponent is doing, and more.
Perhaps that’s why when Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner decided to show his love of milk in the newest "Got Milk?" campaign ads, naturally Pittsburgh Steelers QB BenRoethlisberger would be involved as well.
The two star athletes will be going head-to-head during Super Bowl XLIII on Feb. 1, and to add fuel to their competitive fire, both are also showing off their milk mustaches in a new ad appearing in USA Today on Jan. 30.
"While they may be rivals in one of sport’s biggest games, Roethlisberger and Warner understand that drinking lowfat and fat free milk helps them score big on and off the field," says a representativ for the famous "got milk?" campaign. "They know that milk’s a great choice after exercise, with protein to help build lean muscle and a unique mix of nutrients to refuel. So eat right, train hard and drink lowfat or fat free milk."
If there’s anyone who can still look sexy wearing a milk mustache, it’s Christie Brinkley.
The former Sports Illustrated supermodel is helping launch a new campaign to reintroduce Americans to Milk as Nature’s wellness drink. She’s also helping make history — Brinkley was one of the first celebrities to don the white upper lip, proudly wearing a milk mustache in 1995 when the iconic campaign first premiered.
This time around, Brinkley is helping launch the "Drink Well. Live Well" initiative for the national Milk Mustache "Got Milk" Campaign at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.
"I’ve been drinking milk all of my life and I think it’s a vital part of living well," said Brinkley. "As a busy mom constantly on the move, I may not always have an extra hour to hit the gym, but I always have time to grab a glass of milk. It’s one of the simplest things you can do every day and feel good about, for you and your family."
Chris Brown, 19, joins the ranks of past Got Milk stars including Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and even his own girlfriend, Rihanna, to show the world just how milk does the body good!
The Grammy nominee and three-time American Music Award winner showcases his buff bod in the new ad, which debuts Dec. 12 in Rolling Stone.
OK! got this exclusive behind-the-scenes pic and a sneak peak at the new ad featuring the tattoo-clad “Run It” singer in his milk ‘stache.
The ad reads, “Chris Brown feat. Milk. Another great collaboration? Milk. Some studies suggest that teens who drink milk tend to be leaner and the protein helps build muscle. So eat right, exercise and drink lowfat or fat free milk. Talk about a smooth move.”
Chris will be touring in Europe throughout January and returning for the Grammy Awards on Feb. 8, where he was recently nominated for two Grammy Awards for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for his song "No Air" with Jordin Sparks and Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for his song "Take You Down.”
Country star Taylor Swift has signed on with the Got Milk? campaign, and only OK! has the exclusive behind-the-scenes video interview!
The Grammy-nominated artist says she was "floored" to be asked to team up with Body By Milk and the Got Milk? campaign.
"I’ve always seen the ads in the magazines and thought, ‘If that could be me, I would be so lucky!’ Also anything that promotes good health is something that I believe in."
While Taylor says there was a lot of pressure on her to change herself to fit into the crowd in high school, this megastar is happy now just to be herself.
"I don’t try to blend in anymore," she reveals, "It’s more about standing out."
