Linda Hogan Dating 19-Year-Old Man

June 10th, 2008

The reality show Hogan Knows Best has had a rough year, what with Nick Hogan’s arrest for his involvement in a car crash that seriously injured his friend and a pending bitter divorce between the show’s patriarch Hulk Hogan and his wife Linda Hogan.

Now, as the fate of Hogan Knows Best hangs in the balance, Brooke Hogan has dropped another bombshell, confirming that her 48- year old mother Linda is dating a much younger man, 19-year old Charlie Hill.

"Yes, it’s true," Brooke tells Michael Yo on his Yo on E! satellite radio show on Tuesday. "I’m totally freaked out. This is really weird. I personally don’t like it at all or condone it."

Adding fuel to the fire–Linda’s new man happens to be a former classmate of her daughter’s.

"I went to school with him," Hogan tells Yo. "He was a grade under me. Me and Nick know him well. Me and Nick are two years apart, and he was right between us in school."

It’s a tricky situation for anyone, but Brooke says she’s managed to keep a clear head through it all. "She’s my mom, so I have to show her support," she says. "I’m just staying the course and dealing with it and supporting my family.

Of her brother Nick’s reckless driving charges (for which he’s imprisoned for the next 8 months) Brooke says she visits him regularly, adding, "You know, I thought we were one of those normal Hollywood families. It’s crazy watching it all fall apart, but I hope for the best."

Hulk Hogan: I Lost a Lot From Reality TV

Wrestler turned reality show star Hulk Hogan — who has suffered his share of family troubles in recent months — now says his decision to turn the cameras on his family for the hit VH1 series Hogan Knows Best was perhaps not the greatest decision ever.

“There’s an upside to it and there’s a huge downside to it, especially with family members who weren’t used to it,” a now philosophical Hulk tells OK! about being filmed for the show with his wife, Linda, son Nick and daughter Brooke. “There was a lot gained and a lot lost by doing that.”

Since then, Hulk’s family life has been in turmoil. Linda has filed for divorce and Nick is facing charges of reckless driving after a crash that left his best friend badly injured.

“I had some crazy days and some things that caught me off guard that I didn’t know were going to happen,” Hulk tells OK! “I’ve been riding the highs, surviving the lows, leaning into the wind. All that stuff is all an attitude thing for me — being positive and knowing things are going to get better. My main concern in life is my son and his situation and the boy that’s in the car. There is no other choice but to do okay. Jumping off a bridge isn’t an option.”

Now, Hulk is putting at least his work life back together by hosting the new NBC show American Gladiators, set to premiere Jan. 6. He’s the co-host (with former Dancing With the Stars celebrity Laila Ali) of a new version of the ’90s competition series that pits body builder gladiator types against everyday contestants. Comparing it to Hogan Knows Best, he says, “This is much easier and much better.” He hopes American Gladiators gives his career “a shot in the arm.”

As for doing another series with the entire Hogan family, Hulk says, “I don’t know if we could ever regroup again, to do the whole family thing. That’s pretty stressful, to tell you the truth. But you can never say never.”
