Mikey Myers, Paris Hilton Top List of Razzie Noms

The anti-Oscars, the Razzies, have just announced their nominees for 2008 and–shocker–one of Paris Hilton’s movies is leading the pack of most dismal films!

Topping the list of nominees is Mike Meyer’s box office flop The Love Guru with seven nominations, including worst picture and worst actor. Hilton’s The Hottie and the Nottie, received two nominations–one for worst actress and another for worst screen couple (Paris co-stars with Joel David Moore in the film).

Nearly 700 voters select Razzie nominees, timed to come out a day before Oscar nominations.

The winners will be announced at an over-the-top Hollywood ceremony on February 21.

Paris Opens Up About Cuthbert Kiss

Last week, the Internet was abuzz with alleged eyewitness reports of celebutante Paris Hilton caught in a very public lesbian liplock with sexy starlet Elisha Cuthbert at NYC hotspot Tenjune. And while the hotel heiress’ rep reached out to OK! to quash the rumors, the Simple Life star has remained uncharacteristically quiet on the subject. Until now.

On tonight’s edition of the Daily 10 on E!, Paris defends herself from the scurrilous rumor, saying, "That is not true… Elisha’s like a sister to me, she’s one of my best friends." As for what actually went down that night, the star of The Hottie & the Nottie only says, "I was with her boyfriend and a bunch of friends at a club and people just like to make up stories."

 

In the meantime, Paris has confirmed that she will appear on an upcoming episode of the lesbian drama The L Word. In an interview with Parade magazine, the hotel heiress confesses, "It’s true. I have no idea what kind of character I’ll be playing, but it’s a good show."

 

 

 

Paris Honored… by Harvard!??

For some inexplicable reason, the folks at Harvard University’s Harvard Lampoon magazine have chosen none other than Paris Hilton to be honored as their Woman of the Year.

The celebutante, who received a GED in spite of having attended some of the country’s finest schools, is expected to give an acceptance speech at the ceremony in Harvard Square on Feb. 6. Coincidentally enough, Paris’ new film, The Hottie and the Nottie, hits theaters two days later on Feb. 8.

In past years, the prestigious award has been handed out to TV host (and Harvard alum) Conan O’Brien and writer John Updike.

OK! Exclusive: A Look Inside Paris’ Movie ‘Hottie and the Nottie’

Paris Hilton is ready to hit the big screen again and this time she’s starring in the romantic comedy The Hottie and the Nottie. The movie is about a not-so-hot guy (Joel David Moore) with a crush on Paris (the hottie) and to win her heart finds a match for her also-not-so-hot girlfriend (Christine Lakin).

OK! has gotten exclusive stills from the movie. Although Paris hasn’t always been taken seriously for her acting, she attended acting school for the role in the film. She said, “I really tried hard to get this role. I rehearsed. I was the best at the audition. I got this part because I deserved it, and I’m going to make sure I do the best job ever.”

 

The movie will hit theaters in early February 2008. Guess we’ll have to wait and see if those lessons paid off!
