Watching 7th Heaven co-star Beverly Mitchell tie the knot in Italy Oct. 1, Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake might’ve had marriage on their minds as well – for themselves!
"They were affectionate and held hands as they walked," an eyewitness says of Justin and Jessica, who served as her TV sister’s bridesmaid. "I wouldn’t be surprised if they walked down the aisle themselves."
While the "SexyBack" singer did buy his leading lady a vintage ring during their romantic Italian vacation on Sept. 26, it wasn’t the ring. Still, pals of the pair say that Jessica is fully aware that an engagement is coming.
"We all know they’re going to get married, and they know they’re going to get married," a friend of the sweethearts tells OK!. "It’s just waiting for him to pop the question."
That could be soon. As OK! previously reported, Justin was overheard at September’s Fashion Rocks event saying he was close to proposing. Though he has yet to get down on one knee, that’s just fine with Jessica.
"She lets things happen at their own pace," the friend tells OK!. "She’s said marriage is something she’s up for but doesn’t give a time frame and doesn’t pressure Justin. She gives him his freedom and lets him take the lead in their relationship."
