Shooting Officially Begins on Third Twilight Film

Though the cast of Eclipse, the third film in the hugely popular Twilight Saga, has been on the Vancouver, Canada, set of the movie on and off for the last few weeks, it wasn’t until Tuesday that cameras began to roll on the story of vampires, werewolves and a girl named Bella.
And it looks like stars Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone and new guy Xavier Samuel all had the first day of shooting off, as each of the three hotties was spotted out and about in town. Kellan even took a second to joke around with the paparazzi, borrowing a camera from one photog to turn the tables on the other snappers.

An (Almost) Sweep for Twilight at MTV Movie Awards

If there was any doubt about the popularity of Twilight going into Sunday night’s MTV Movie Awards, there certainly wasn’t any left by the time the ceremony finished. The blockbuster vampire flick and its two main stars walked away with armfuls of trophies, sweeping all but one of the awards it was nominated for.
The movie, based on the international best selling novel by Stephenie Meyer, took home not only the top honors of Best Movie and Best Female Performance for star Kristen Stewart and Breakthrough Performance — Male for Robert Pattinson, it also cleaned up in the more colorful categories of Best Kiss and Best Fight for R.Patts’ on-screen sparring with Cam Gigandet.
The film’s only loss of the evening came to Miley Cyrus in the Best Song from a Movie category. The teen star’s song "The Climb" was the surprise winner in a category that included Oscar winner "Jai Ho" from Slumdog Millionaire.
Twilight also figured into the night’s most awaited moment. No, it wasn’t the Best Movie award — it was the trailer for New Moon, the second film in the saga. After much ballyhoo — including a fake trailer made by the night’s host, Andy Samberg, the actual trailer was aired. Here it is for your enjoyment:
New Moon Poster Revealed?

The folks behind New Moon need to do a better job of keeping a lid on the secrets of the sure-to-be huge sequel to Twilight. First, a woman finds a copy of the much-anticipated film’s script in the trash, and now it looks like the first official poster for the movie might have also been leaked.
The Robert Pattinson fan site spunk-ransom.com appears to be the first to have scored the artwork, featuring a smoldering R-Patts shielded from on-screen love interest Kristen Stewart by a glowering Taylor Lautner, all set in a very misty forest somewhere.
So is it the real deal?
"If it’s not authentic, it should be," one Hollywood insider tells OK!. "I had no interest in seeing the film, but now… I just might. If I were the one marketing New Moon, I’d say this one’s a hit."
New Moon is currently filming in Canada and is set for release on Nov. 20.
