NYC Fashion Week is in full swing and Jared Leto isn’t missing a beat. Despite it being a Monday night, Jared painted the town red with other fashion-lovers and attended the Marc Jacobs Spring 2010 Fashion Show afterparty at Hiro. The 30 Seconds to Mars singer sported — what else? — a very rock star-ish leather jacket.

Millions fell in love with the then 23-year-old Jared Leto (and his gorgeous good looks) as Jordan Catalano in My So Called Life– and few of us, like myself, in the not seen enough 1997 film Basil. In the decade plus since Jared’s look has morphed from losing dozens of pounds to play a drug-addled character in Requiem for a Dream and gaining double that for Chapter 27. While dedicating the last couple of years to his band 30 Seconds to Mars (the music I love, his guyliner and in need of a shower look that went along with it not as much) Jared looked like he just plain let himself go, growing his hair out, dying it blond and donning disguises that appeared contrived to make himself look like he was trying too hard to not be known as the pretty-boy that he genetically was born to be.
I’m happy to report that last night I stumbled on my new Louboutin stilettos as I took a double take of vintage Jared Leto emerging from a crowd at a party hosted by Justin Timberlake’s new 901 Tequila in a penthouse at the Hotel Roosevelt in LA. Jared’s hair was cut short, back to brown, he was fit and looked absolutely fabulous. Jared’s comeback should continue with his title role in Mr. Nobody, slated to be released later this summer, and word is he’s in the running, against Rob Pattison and James Franco, for the starring role in a biopic of Jeff Buckley’s too short life.

Either the stomach problems that had <a href="http://okmagazine.com/search/hartnett" target="_blank"><strong>Josh Hartnett</strong></a> laid up in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Monday weren’t as dire as they were first made out to be, or the actor is putting on a brave face and partying through the pain.
Last night, Josh, who was released from the hospital as early as Wednesday, made his way out to Hollywood hotspot MyHouse, where he hunkered down at a table in the club’s ultra-VIP sunken living room with four guy pals, including actor Stephen Dorff.
Dressed casual in a black beanie and black frames, Josh partied all night and even met up with buddy Jared Leto on the way out to hit up some after-hours festivities. If only everyone had such quick recoveries!

There’s nothing wrong with a little innocent flirting — or is there? Jared Leto certainly didn’t seem to think so at Sunday night’s Golden Globes bash at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, where he made a quick bee-line for his newly married ex-girlfriend Scarlett Johansson!
A fellow party-goer tells OK! that Leto, "spent most of the evening hitting on Scarlett Johansson, who certainly didn’t seem to mind."
Interestingly, Leto’s other ex, Cameron Diaz, was also at the party, but the insider tells OK! he "wanted nothing to do" with the Charlie’s Angels star. Instead, the source says Cam, who was there solo, was happy chatting up the tall, dark and handsome Gerard Butler!
Johansson dated Leto prior to meeting longtime boyfriend Josh Hartnett. The two broke up in 2004 and the actress went on to date and marry Ryan Reynolds in a private ceremony in Canada.

In the face of a $30 million lawsuit by Virgin/EMI against his band 30 Seconds to Mars, as well as gossip that they’re splitting up, Jared Leto fights back on the band’s official Web site.
"Despite rumors to the contrary, 30 Seconds to Mars is NOT calling it quits," he writes. "We are incredibly happy, healthy and very much together here, in Los Angeles, recording our new record. Besides this ridiculously overblown lawsuit (courtesy of Virgin/EMI), we are having one of the most inspiring, wonderful and exciting times that we’ve experienced to date."
Jared goes on to say that California law allows a band or recording artist to leave their label after seven years, and that 30 Seconds to Mars had been with EMI for nine when they decided to leave their old contract and "explore other opportunities."

Sure, the twins rose to fame after appearing on Full House as toddlers. The fearsome twosome — who are actually fraternal, not identical twins — literally grew up in front of the camera. The pint-sized moguls, whose company Dualstar is worth an estimated $100 million, have made a concerted effort in recent years to be seen as separate people — and to keep their private lives private.
In June 2004, as concern over her skeletal frame grew, Mary-Kate entered Cirque Lodge for treatment of an eating disorder. That same year, she dated Stavros Niarchos, who left her for Paris Hilton, a onetime friend of Olsen’s.
Professionally, Mary-Kate is more focused than her sister, Ashley, on pursuing film and television roles. Since making the critically-panned New York Minute in 2004, Ashley has shied away from film roles. In 2007, she returned to television for a guest appearance on HBO series Weeds. And most recently, she starred with Ben Kingsley in the film The Wackness.
Mary-Kate is also a bit of an exhibitionist. In 2007, she told Harper’s Bazaar about her predilection to nudity. " I run around my house naked with heels all the time. It’s so funny. All my friends will tell you I love running around in kimonos and jewelery or naked with jewelery."
Sister Ashley, considered the more artistic and fashion-oriented of the two, has helped grow the sisters’ clothing line, The Row, and even interned with fashion darling Zac Posen to help develop her skills. The pair is no strangers to couture: Ashley and Mary-Kate starred in an ad campaign for designer Badgley Mischka, and though they’re often criticized for their sometimes off-the-wall style, the twins are considered style icons. In 2007, they launched a high-end line named Elizabeth and James, after two of the twin’s siblings.
Ashley — older than Mary-Kate by two minutes — has had a string of high-profile relationships with older men, including Jared Leto in 2005, and promoter Scott Sariano (15 years older and nine years older, respectively). In 2007, 21-year-old Ashley was linked to 36-year-old Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong, though both denied a serious romance. She was also linked to David Katzenberg, who moved on from Oslen to Nicky Hilton. Those Hilton sisters seem to love the Olsen’s sloppy seconds.
