Funny guys Russell Brand and Jonah Hill got in a little stretching in balmy New York City on Thursday while shooting their new film, Get Him to the Greek in Central Park.
The movie, which brings back Brand’s Forgetting Sarah Marshall rocker character Aldous Snow, who makes things difficult for intern Jonah, who is given the task of getting Snow to a concert at The Greek Theater on time.

Bad boy British comedian Russell Brand is back as rocker Aldous Snow, the scene-stealing, sex-crazed, self-absorbed rock star he played in Forgetting Sarah Marshall in the new film, Get Him to the Greek, which was filming in the Big Apple over the weekend.
On Sunday, Russell and co-star Jonah Hill shot an outdoor concert scene in Manhattan that had Russell’s real-life fans lining up for autographs from the big-haired Brit, whose next gig is hosting the MTV Video Music Awards in September. “This year will be a controversy free festival of love and discreet orgasms,” promises Russell.

While they may be Democrat or Republican, some celebrities don’t want to tell you who to elect as the next president, but they do want you to exercise your right to vote.
Leonardo DiCaprio and a few of his famous friends recently gathered to make a public service announcement urging viewers to make sure they’re registered to vote before election day. Sources exclusively tell OK! that the star-studded PSA was filmed at Leo’s L.A. home.
"I mean you do know that, right? You have to register first before you vote," says Leo in the almost-five minute spot.
Over three days the Body of Lies actor and his production company, Appian Way, put celebs like Tobey Maguire, Forest Whitaker, will.i.am, Jennifer Aniston, Halle Berry, Courteney Cox, Ellen DeGeneres, Jaime Foxx, Jonah Hill, Dustin Hoffman, Natalie Portman and more in front of the camera to get the message out to unregistered voters, asking them to also tell five friends to do the same.
The spot urges viewers to go online at that very moment to register, many saying they’ll wait while you do so.
"I’ll wait too," adds Sarah Silverman. "I’m going to take off my bra under my shirt."

Superbad Looks Supergood for MTV Awards

The nominations for the 2008 MTV Movie Awards were announced last night and, as can usually be expected from the tongue-in-cheek ceremony, you won’t find much overlap with the Oscars.
Last summer’s surprise hit comedy, Superbad, which was somehow overlooked by Academy voters in March, leads the class of 2008 with five total nominations, including Best Movie and Best Comedic Performance for its star Jonah Hill. Co-stars Michael Cera and Christopher Mintz-Plasse join Jonah as nominees in the Breakthrough Performance category.
Additionally, Cera is nominated in the Best Male Performance category for his role in Juno. He’s joined in that category by Knocked Up’s Seth Rogen, the co-writer on Superbad.
And while this may be the only chance for National Treasure: Book of Secrets to score a nationally televised award, the MTV Movie Awards will allow Javier Bardem the opportunity to add yet another trophy to his case for his role as the creepy killer in No Country for Old Men.

Surprise BFFs: Jonah Hill & the Olsens

Jonah Hill, star of last summer’s one-two box-office punch of Knocked Up and Superbad, is in New York City this week prepping for his Saturday Night Live hosting stint this weekend. And although the actor has been busy in rehearsals, he’s also been spending some time partying with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
On Tuesday, Jonah was seen cavorting with Ashley at the East Village hangout Black and White. The seemingly unlikely pair were spotted enjoying some beverages and partying the night away.
And fast-forward 24 hours to Wednesday night, where you’ll find Jonah with his second Olsen of the week, Mary-Kate. In fact, sources tell OK! that Jonah was too busy frolicking with MK and SNL funny guy Seth Myers at hipster hotspot Lit to make a scheduled appearance at the Hennessy-sponsored BlackBook magazine party where he was supposed to drop by.
