Single Joss Stone has her eye on Prison Break’s Wentworth Miller.
“I think he’s cute,” the Grammy winner, 22, tells me in an interview from her Devon, England, home. “He’s really hot. He’s gorgeous. What a babe. It’s the eyes. It’s the eyes that do me in. I just can’t deal with it.”
Whew, it’s a good thing he’s 6’1” because the 5’10” singer has trouble with short men when it comes to relationships.
Her rule? They must be taller.

Isn’t this ironic? Soul singer Joss Stone is making her acting debut on The Tudors this spring, playing the fourth wife, Anne of Cleves, to Jonathan Rhys Meyers’ King Henry VIII.
Here’s where you break out the Alanis Morissette CD. Henry didn’t consummate his relationship with Anne. Day-um!
“He didn’t want to have sex with her,” Joss explained to my L.A. counterpart Carole Glines at the series TCA conference last week.
Was Joss disappointed she wouldn’t get a chance to hop in the sack with Jonathan – if only for the screen?
“It didn’t matter to me. I just wanted to be on the show, to be honest,” Joss said. “I wanted to play any part.”
That doesn’t mean Joss didn’t try for a role that would have been more, entertaining.
“It was Jane Seymour. I was supposed to play the English rose, but unfortunately I played the German minger,” she laughed.
All is not lost. Joss does have one scene that sounds promising…
“I was in my nightie. I had that long nightie that they used to wear, and yes, I did not have any shoes on,” she shared.
Maybe King Henry VIII had a foot fetish?

Joss Stone usually goes barefoot, but she’s asking for attention when she wears one pink shoe and one green shoe to the Hard Rock Café New York launch party for the Serve3 CD. Proceeds benefit WHY, a nonprofit organization that strives to fight against hunger and poverty in America and around the world.
Joss calls performing at the London Hard Rock Cafe “legendary.” Another big moment in her career was when president-elect Barack Obama asked the 21-year-old British songstress to perform a song for his campaign. What tips would she give other artists asked to sing for the First Family?
“I would say go ahead and do it,” she tells me. “Don’t be nervous. Don’t be nervous is a really silly thing for me to say. Everybody’s nervous when they’re performing anywhere – especially when they’re performing at the White House. But to get over nerves, you do it, and then it’s over. So I would say go ahead. If you’ve been invited to perform, get right on there and do it. And if you’re performing for Barack Obama? Can you imagine the honor? That would be amazing.”
What can we expect from tonight’s performance?
“My show is not choreographed,” Joss says. “We just stand up and play music.”

Joss Stone took a page from Madonna’s handbook when she
unveiled a new hair color at G&P Cancer Research Foundation’s Angel Ball
held in NYC on Oct. 29.
“I really like how Madonna has changed a lot,” the 20-year-old
soul singer tells reporters. “It’s not even that I like the way she looks. It’s
just because she’s got guts and it doesn’t matter.”
Joss is willing to take risks herself.
“A lot of people are very
scared of change, so I like to embrace it. If I make a mistake and walk down a
red carpet looking like a complete twat, it’s okay. It’s over, and then tomorrow
I’m going to get up and put something different on. But I’m not going to follow
any fashion. How boring.”
What does she like most about her new shade?
“It’s easy on my eyes,” she says.

Singer Joss Stone knows a thing or do about doing a good deed — performing at the Band Aid 20, Live 8 and Live Earth benefit concerts, being named World’s Sexiest Vegetarian by PETA and much more. So when OK! caught up with the 20-year-old Brit this weekend at the Frosted Pink event in L.A., which aimed to raise money and awareness for various forms of female-specific cancers, and where Joss performed a duet with Natalie Cole, we asked her how she manages to fit her charitable work into her schedule.
“People ask me and I say ‘Yes!’ Simple as that!!” the singer explained to OK!. “When people ask me to help anything that I believe needs helping, then you don’t need to explain why. If I can, and I have time in my day, I’ll do it. Why not? There’s nothing that would stop me from helping people.”
