Ellen Page and Drew Barrymore hugged it out on the red carpet at last night’s L.A. premiere of Whip It at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. The film is Drew’s directorial debut, and fittingly, her godfather, legendary director Steven Spielberg, was also on hand for her big night.

When Justin "I’m a Mac" Long showed up at the NYC premiere of ex-girlfriend Drew Barrymore’s new HBO film, Grey Gardens the other night, it immediately set tongues wagging that the former couple had rekindled their romance. But according to the actress, things aren’t exactly what they seem.
"We’re good friends and were doing a film this summer and I think it’s very confusing," Drew tells Ellen DeGeneres on Friday’s Ellen DeGeneres Show. "I guess people find it a little confusing. I totally understand. It seems like ‘What is the deal with them?’ but we just adore each other. We’re in each other’s lives and we’re friends and we’re working together and we have worked together."
Drew dodges the question of whether she and Justin are seeing other people by saying, "We’re just friends so we are free to do whatever we want."
While she may not be talking about a new man, Drew does confess about her one true love: "I’ve got my Flossy dog and she’s great. She and I are still in love 14 years…that is a relationship that works."
