Jessica Simpson hasn’t been on reality TV since she and ex-husband Nick Lachey showed their life together on Newlyweds years ago. And now she’ll have a pal to help her brave the reality waters when she returns with her new show. Read more »
It looks like the breakup with ex-boyfriend Tony Romo may have finally caught up to Jessica Simpson.
A tired-looking Jess appeared to have enjoyed herself — perhaps too much — at Beso in Hollywood. The newly single star got a much needed hand from birthday boy, her BFF and stylist Ken Paves, who celebrated his special day at the restaurant last night.

The newly revitalized Jessica Simpson took a break from sweating out her revenge plans inside the gym today to get out and get some fresh air instead.
The singer joined her BFF, hairstylist Ken Paves for a walk in the park with his three Saluki dogs and at a few different times it looked like Jess was getting a better workout with the pooches than she does from her trainer!

The newly single Jessica Simpson stepped out on Saturday night with her sister Ashlee Simpson and her BFF and hairstylist Ken Paves for dinner at one of the 29-year-old’s faves, Katsuya, in Hollywood.
In her summery, loose-fitting floral outfit, Jess was showing off her recent efforts to get back in shape following the heartbreaking split with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo on the eve of her 29th birthday in July.
“Jess is serious about getting her body back into fighting shape,” her pal reveals to OK!. “Working out is helping to give her focus and clear her head. It’s better than sitting around moping or throwing pity parties with ice cream sundaes.”

Kim Kardashian just loves playing with her hair, and she doesn’t even have to snip a single lock of those signature long, dark tresses. Enter stylist to the stars, Ken Paves, who glammed Kim up with a short ‘do for a recent photoshoot.
"Last week I did a spread for Oprah’s O magazine," Kim writes on her official blog below a pic of her "new" hair. "O magazine has always been a magazine I read for inspiration. I can’t give away the concept just yet but it involved other reality stars. Trista [Sutter] from The Bachelorette, was there, American Idol judge Kara [DioGuardi], and a bunch more."
She goes on to gush over Ken, who’s also styled Jessica Simpson and Eva Longoria Parker in the past.
"This shoot was the first time I worked with famed hair stylist Ken Paves. He completely transformed my hair! Check it out! We used a wig! This isn’t the first time I’ve experimented with wigs haha. Remember my blond wig?? What do u think of me with short hair?"
We dig it, Kim!
The world has already met Jessica Simpson’s mane man, her hair stylist Ken Paves. Now the country singer and Paves (who also cuts Eva Longoria and Jennifer Lopez’s coiffeurs) are releasing a line of clip-on bangs.
The partners will debut the latest product from Hairdo – their line of human and synthetic hair-extensions – on QVC June 5 at 10pm and will continue to sell them on June 6 from 4pm. "It’s an amazing way to try a trend and not have to commit to it," Paves tells OK!.
In fact, Ken’s clip-ons convinced one of the most discerning celebrity fashionistas – Jennifer Lopez!
"With the bangs, you don’t have to commit to a haircut with full bangs; try it out this way like I did with Jennifer Lopez. I tried them on first with heavy bangs with a bang piece and she loved it so much, I actually gave her bangs and I did the same thing with Jennifer. I was in Japan with Jennifer and she had thinner bangs and I loved the idea of heavier, chunkier bangs so I tried it on with the bang piece and she loved it so much we physically cut a deeper bang. It’s an amazing way to try a trend and not have to commit to it and they’re so easy."
Meanwhile, Jessica is more than a muse.
"She has a huge part," he says, "the extensions have to satisfy both of us." And Jess, who’s developing a new TV show called The Price of Beauty, loves the locks.
"She wears the hairdo clip-ins all the time," Paves says, "We used to glue them in but now she clips them in from the box."
