Casey Aldridge Charged in Car Wreck

According to a report on TMZ.com, Casey Aldridge — aka Jamie Lynn Spears‘ boyfriend and baby-daddy — is now facing misdemeanor criminal charges in Louisiana following an auto accident on Saturday night.
The story claims that Casey, who made headlines in Dec. 2007 when then-16-year-old Jamie Lynn announced in the pages of OK! that the two were expecting a child together — was driving around 1:30 a.m. last night in Louisiana’s Tensas Parish when he lost control of his Ford F-150 truck.
Louisiana State Troopers say that there were five total passengers in Casey’s truck and that three of them — including Casey — were ejected in the crash that occurred when he reportedly swerved off the side of the road and into a ditch and then made matters worse by turning too quickly back onto the road, causing the vehicle to flip.
According to TMZ, the two other ejectees refused medical treatment at the scene.
Casey, who has yet to wed Jamie Lynn and who has dogged reports of cheating, was first taken to the Riverland Medical Facility in Ferriday, Louisiana, before being shipped across the state line to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Miss, about a 90-minute drive to the house he shares with Jamie Lynn and their daughter Maddie Briann in Liberty, Miss.

On March 4, Jamie Lynn Spears and her boyfriend, Casey Aldridge, were spotted leaving their New Orleans hotel after attending her sister Britney Spears’ Circus comeback concert the night before.
While Casey tenderly held their 9-month-old daughter, Maddie Briann, Jamie Lynn loaded her diaper bags, toys and pink stroller into the minivan. Then the family took off on the four-hour drive back to their Mississippi home.
The young unmarried couple looked as connected as could be on their trip to cheer on Britney at her first show. But now Jamie Lynn – who was 16 when she shocked the world by telling OK! in December 2007 that she was expecting a child with her 18-year-old boyfriend – has decided not to walk down the aisle with him.
“The wedding’s off,” a source reveals to OK!. “They are still in love, living together and very happy, but they have no plans to get married. Jamie Lynn has everything she wants and feels no need for a ring and piece of paper.”
Adds another insider, “She and Casey have weathered a lot in their young relationship already and don’t need the pressure of making wedding plans.”

Flashing a smile as glorious as the one she displayed 16 hours earlier onstage in L.A., Britney Spears stepped off her chartered jet at Mississippi’s tiny McComb-Pike County Airport on Nov. 7. She balanced son Preston, 3, on one hip while a nanny helped his brother, Jayden, 2. Britney’s dad, Jamie Spears, and her brother, Bryan, were by her side; mom Lynne welcomed her on the tarmac.

It was the beginning of a perfect family reunion, until it all came crashing down. At a Nov. 9 barbecue lunch at Serenity, Britney’s estate in Kentwood, La., Jayden began having problems breathing, became non-responsive and developed hives. Britney immediately called 9-1-1.
“She was told it would take 30 minutes for the ambulance to get to her, so she was advised to drive to the hospital,” a source tells OK!. With a bodyguard at the wheel, they raced to Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.
“The doctors weren’t able to immediately identify the problem, but later determined Jayden had suffered an allergic reaction to something he’d eaten,” says a source. The “something” was shellfish, a member of Kevin Federline’s family tells OK!.
“Jayden’s had a sensitivity to shellfish in the past, although he’s never been formally tested for it. He has been now,” the source continues, adding, “Britney was extremely upset.”
Thankfully, Jayden was released from the hospital and able to return home to his family on the evening of Nov. 10.

Before the medical crisis, the family, including Britney’s sister, Jamie Lynn, 17, her fiance?, Casey Aldridge, 19, and their 5-month-old daughter, Maddie, were catching up with the star. With the Dec. 2 release of her album Circus, Britney is set for a huge comeback.

Britney’s Birthday Bash for her Boys!

Giant balloons in every imaginable color, homemade ice cream, a vintage popcorn
machine and customized minicars with personalized “license plates”— proud mom Britney Spears went all out in putting together a birthday party to remember for her two precious sons.
Sean Preston, who turned 3 on Sept. 14, and Jayden James, who
turned 2 on Sept. 12, were the guests of honor at the fun soiree held at family
friend Adrienne Maloof-Nassif’s Beverly Hills estate on Sept. 13.
Making the event even more special was the presence of Brit’s little sister, Jamie Lynn, 17, and her 3-month-old daughter, Maddie, who met her cousins for the first time after flying in from Mississippi with Mom on Sept. 10. (Maddie’s dad and Jamie Lynn’s fiance?, Casey Aldridge, 19, stayed at home in Mississippi.)
As for the boys’ friends, “There were some kids there who are Preston’s playmates when he stays with his dad and goes to My Gym,” a source tells OK!. “Jenny McCarthy also brought her 6-year-old son, Evan.”
The lucky kids at the party, including Evan McCarthy and Kingston Rossdale, were treated to toys like Webkins and Skorpies Skates by Kitson Kids, who sponsored the birthday bash.
Britney, who has looked fantastic in recent months, and stole the show (nabbing three Moonmen including one for Video of the Year) at the 2008 VMAs, enjoyed the party as much as the kids. “She often had Jayden in her arms,” adds the source. “Brit did the honors when it came time to cut the joint birthday cake, which was decorated with a car, of course.”
The weekend was all about family, and the most special part for the singer was having Jamie Lynn with her. Despite their almost 10-year age difference, the sisters are best friends and talk to each other daily.
“I’m sure Britney would love it if Jamie Lynn were to move to Los Angeles,” the source explains, “but she’s as happy as could be at her home in Mississippi. So the sisters took full advantage of their time together.”
The two will no doubt be back together for Britney’s birthday on Dec. 2. The singer’s next album, Circus, is scheduled to be released on that date, and a party is in the works. The first single from the CD, “Womanizer,” is getting a Sept. 22 release, and at the same time, Britney’s official Web site will be relaunched.

Despite their worldwide notoriety, the young couple won’t be swapping their vows at some 5-star celeb-filled resort, but will be sticking close to home. Jamie Lynn’s new house is in Liberty, Miss. — just 30 minutes from her mom Lynne Spears’ house, Serenity, in Kentwood, La. — and it sits on three acres, which is more than enough space to put up a tent for a private, late fall ceremony.
"She loves everything about the area where she lives. She’s not going to get married at some luxury resort in the Caribbean or a hotel in Beverly Hills," a friend of the bride-to-be tells OK!. "Her own backyard with just the people who matter most is more Jamie Lynn’s style."
And with the wedding approaching quickly, Jamie Lynn is planning to look her best on the big day. "She’s already down to her pre-pregnancy weight," says the friend. "She has the cutest figure!"
Of course, big sis Britney Spears will be her Jamie Lynn’s maid of honor, and Casey’s sister Ashlee will be one of her bridesmaids. And tiny toddler Maddie will be an integral part of the wedding — possibly in a basket decorated with flowers and carried into the ceremony by the bride and groom’s mothers.

Britney & Mom’s Bonding Time

Now that Jamie Lynn Spears has given birth to adorable little Maddie Briann, mom Lynne Spears has taken some time to head from her Louisiana home to enjoy some quality time with older daughter, Britney Spears.
First, Lynne joined Brit at the recording studio Thursday night, where the singer is working on a follow-up to last year’s Blackout.
And then earlier on Friday, mom and daughter partook in a nice little shopping spree. Joined by her Brit’s assistant Brett and Lynne’s best friend Jackie the foursome (Britney attempted to hide in the backseat of one car) drove over to the True Religion jean warehouse in Vernon, Calif.
According to witnesses, the four women went "hog wild" at the giant warehouse, scouring the racks and leaving with oversized shopping bags under their arms. Referring to the tight-fit jeans she picked up, Brit was overheard saying to her assistant, "I’m feeling skinnier now, so…"
Insiders tell OK! that Britney’s relationship with True Religion, famous for their low-rise, hip-baring jeans, is basically the same as the understanding she has at the Ed Hardy warehouse, where she is free to roam to rows and rows and rows of clothes and pull whatever she wants.
But despite Friday’s shopping spree, it’s likely that the sexy slacks will be left in Britney’s closet next Tuesday when she heads to court for her final scheduled custody hearing before the case goes to trial in August.
